Picking up new car on Monday
As many of you guys know, I've been around the forum for quite some time...even before I got my 01 CLS. However, the time has come to sell my car :'(, but I'll still hang around this forum cuz it still rocks! Enough with this, here are the pics
2002 C32 AMG
Fully loaded with all options (Xenons, Navi, Carphone, Headlamp washers, ski sack passthru, rear sunshade, rain sensor).
Mods so far include SL55 pedals and clear blinkers on sides. I'm so excited!

definitely...stock C32 is damn fast already (349hp/333lb-ft), but EVOsport has a stage II package for it shown at SEMA this year. They claim 435 crank hp...that's another additional ~80rwhp

Congrats! Great choice. Its such an awesome car to drive. Like liquid_x said, its night and day. That Stage II pkg is pretty expensive but for the additional hp, it may be worth it. Evosport has the dyno #'s but do you know if they have any performance figures? 0-60? 1/4 mile?

Nice car, you are quite lucky. I tried one once, got to 250km/h in no time. Most impressive car I've driven.
good luck with it and be careful... lots of power there

When I drove it around, the power delivery was smooth...love the torque and the feeling of a RWD car. I will post impressions when I drive it tomorrow evening thru city streets and on the highway. My V1 just got here, so I'll be installing that soon...should be fun.
As for the mods from Evosport, it's $5,490 for stage II (intake, headers, wires, plugs, chip, pulleys, upgraded IC&AC) producing 80whp gain on 91 octane gas (they are located in california.) With 93 octane, there are even more gains b/c the ECU has an advanced timing setting for 93. It's not a bad deal considering that's $68.63/whp while the CT S/C is $4000 for 40-50whp or $80/whp.
The owner of Evosport drives a C32 and test a lot of parts on his car. He expects, with some good tires/light rims, 12.0-12.2 quarter times.
As for the price, let's just say I got a good deal...less than $40k.

Thanks guys.
darrin - The stage II kit comes with an overdrive pulley set which increases the boost of the s/c from 14psi to 18psi...you gotta love 9.0:1 CR. The charger also has an electromechanical clutch to engage or disengage, so it's not running all the time. The pulleys make 30whp alone!

Just got the car tonight and it was REALLY fun to drive in the city and highway acceleration was amazing. Makes my dad's E500 feel slow...now I can finally race him.
Pics will be posted shortly.

That's some good shit, Ronnie, take care of that car.
Lemme know how it handles, I'm curious about how well a MB luxury ride can handle. Don't kill yourself finding out though =)
Enjoy.

Thanks guys.
I took some fast turns last night and it feels pretty good....much better than the CLS stock, but maybe about the same as with teins & sways (friend's car)....still feels more solid, but it could be the rwd also.
I didn't notice any blower whine. When you get on it, you hear a nice low rumble and you can feel when the electromechanical clutch engages the S/C.
