So what number did you call, i been trying to call 916-635-4550 all day long and never got a person to answer, just messages saying noone is available pls leave a message. I have left emails, phone messages etc and they dont reply. The vendor i bought from on here dsnt seem to want to help me and ct dsnt look like they will help me either. Makes me wanna rip the ct shit off my car and never buy from them again.
SO anyone wanna buy 2 left ct mufflers brand new i got no use for them.

I dont really wanna name the vendor and start blaming them till i figure this out. I shouldnt have said the vendor isnt helping me its just that they are telling me its ct_engineerings fault/issue but they will try to help in contacting them and they too have had no luck contacting ct-engineering. I really dont know if this is something the vendor should rectify or if it is ct_engineerings job to rectify it. I assume CT sent the mufflers in the box and the vendor never even got or opened it to look. Just a shame if I am out a set of 600$ mufflers and these 2 just sit in my storage and never get used after all the time to make and weld these. Maybe I can use them as coffee table stands.

Were they drop-shipped from CT or did the vendor send them? If the vendor sent them, CT is just going to tell you to deal with them.

What was the shipping address?

If it was Excellerate, he's in CT IIRC. Heel Toe is in Cali. CT is in Cali as well, but Heel Toe is in Mission Viejo.

If you try to call ct-engineering no matter what day or time of day you will get the "all our representatives are busy please leave a message" bs. They dont have any real ppl to talk to they just want you to think there is. Also if you leave a message or email they will never reply. Sigh.

Who did you leave a message with? I called, got the automated BS, hit 0 and was transferred to a Nate Hans (sp?) at ext 300. Do that, call 2-3 times a day and leave a message. Do it for three days, then bump the call amount to 5. Make sure youre calling 8-5 their time.

If he doesnt get back to you, start trying out all different extensions. Harrass the hell out of them. They have a breaking point. Ill keep looking around for another number though.

I assume you mean the automated message, that isnt a real person just a message. This is so depressing, dont buy ct stuff new guys cause if there is something wrong you cant return it. You are better off buying used or from another company.

I finally just got someone to answer the phone. i sent them my invoice and pics so hopefully we can work this out. He said that they usually have mufflers in stock there but right now they are completely out so they would have to make a right side one for me and id have to wait for it to be manufactured. He said supposedly I am the first case he has ever heard of with this happening.

Got an email from them stating
"Just a note to let you know that I did receive all your info, and we should be able to ship the replacement muffler out to you on Monday. You should receive an email Monday with tracking information. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks,"

So it looks like CT will redeem themselves.

Ehhh this is getting too depressing. Well I finally got the right side replacement muffler, and the muffler tip is alot longer than my 2 left ones. I am assuming that it isnt supposed to be like this and they screwed up again and sent me a tl right or something. Woohoo another month of getting ahold of them again, then another month waiting, then i get to shipo back 2 mufflers, fun stuff thnx comptech.

As you can see in the pic my 2 left muffler tips are a little over 6.5" long, whereas the right one i received today is over 7" long.

I had some too,today.
My rotors showed up and the rear rotors are about a 1/2" smaller were the e brake pads sits.
That's what I get I guess since I ordered the V6 accord ones cuz they were cheaper.

SO I received an email today stating " Hi Brian,

Just a note to let you know that I did speak with our engineers and welders here about your email, and let them see the photos. What they are telling me is that there is slight variations in how the muffler can sit in the fixture when being welded, but that the tip has very well defined limits and tolerances as to where the end of the tip sits in the fixture. What this would translate into is what would appear to be a longer tip, but really the muffler would be just sitting a touch farther back from the end of the tip. I have been assured by our staff here that the tips should still sit in their normal position on the car, with anywhere from ¼ to ½ inch variation, and that they really should be in good shape to install. Please let us know if you have any other questions. "

Is it just me or does this reply sound like bs and they just dont want to have to deal with me anymore, what do you think.? How could ct allow a variation up to .5 inches off that dsnt seem right to me. Also who would want a can that sits back farther on one side?

My CT mufflers are different length too. I bought used one though. I noticed few days after i installed them. I can deal with it. so is this normal??? or their mistake?
I don't know what to say man. hmm.. I wonder if others who have CT mufflers are the same way?

yea thats what i was thinking wish i had other sets to compare it too. Does the tip on yours stick out further on the side thats longer or does just the can sit back half an inch more but tip is at same length?

Mine are both the same. I say install them (yourself, its simple) and see if its noticeable. If it is, take pics and bitch them out. This is BS.

And Id be worried about the sound coming from two different sized mufflers.

Oh. In that case, take pics of the whole assembly and send them to them. Thats unacceptable.

I though that the overall length was the same.
