P2R 3inch Cat Back installed

Yesterday 11/6/08 I got my Custom 3inch Cat Back from P2R installed. Immediately the car sounded powerful and felt great.

Mufflers where my personal prefference, since I will be welding dual tips on when I find the right ones.

Today after I guess the ECU adjusted or whatever, she felt SICK FAST so I decided to take a trip to the dyno

Run 10 is stock exhuast with high flow cat and Run 12 is P2R 3 inch exhuast

Please direct all technical, specifications as well as pricing questions towards P2R. Thank you

The Install looks clean.

U did not answer the straight pipe question though.

so i take it u running a straight 2.5 or maybe 3" ( hope not if u not HBP) directly into the magnaflows.
NO resonators
NO CONVERTERS

not sure, I picked the ones I got because I wanted to put my factory tips on them but i ended up findout out that the factory tips are to small to weld up to the 2.5 inch tips of the mufflers

I don't see how you got that kind of power from just exhaust on the 3.2. What were the existing mods?? And are those crank hp numbers?

he's obviously fi on low boost. 3" is too large for n/a and no gains will be seen with it.

this is barely considered a p2r catback since they don't even make the cans nor do they work with magnaflow to produce any special cans.

at least atlp works with the owner of stromung/cobb.

this forum is to share information. if u don't want to share, don't read up on anything on this forum.

Without divulging too many of his mods, although most are listed on another forum, he is purely NA with many P2R parts. Another thing, although the exhaust may not bolt directly up to any existing cans, they are pretty much direct bolt ons with some mods to the way they connect to whatever cans you use.

Very good numbers, this is the highest NA numbers that I've seen.

We built this exhaust for him, but we dont claim it as a P2R exhaust system, that is why you will not see it on our website or anything like that.

The exhaust was built to maximize this current mods. Car is NA without any forced induction. 3" is not to large for a NA car that is setup right.

He did share info. He showed us his new exhaust and dyno #s. Whether he tells us his other mods is irrelevant. He showed Before and After. Why you got your pants in such a knot is beyond me.
Also he said it was "Custom" not something that's available to buy.

Honestly guys I bought my CL and didnt have 0 plans to do anything to it. After about a year, last summer the itch came and i happend to get a deal on a intake, crank pulley and headers in the BM all for less thant 300 bucks so I said why not. That set up was ok and after I studied this whole site I kind of got the sense that a Supercharger is the common best way to add good power to these cars, but I have always been the type of person that liked to make my own path and not follow others. So this year I set out to do something different and make power NA that hasnt been seen around here. Not saying that there isnt another NA CL pushing higher numbers, but it feels good to put in a lot of work and get these results. The guys at the shop said that I put down higher numbers than 350Z, G37s and even M3s...

Anyhow guys thanks a lot, next time I post again I will hopefully be putting down a good amount over 300whp still NA.

I was at the shop when it was dyoned and the thing is a beast. I got goosebumps when that bitch went into vtec. I commend Nupe for all the work he has put in this car. Im glad to say I had some insight and advice in his project. The thing moves like hell on the street too, the exhaust was definitely restricting your power. Did I mention it sounds mean as hell too?
