OBX Header Install Help Please

OBX Header Install Help Please
I've installed dozens of headers, but these OBXs are very unimpressive.
It only took me about an hour to get the exhaust manifold and B pipe off my 2001 CL-P.
I tried then to put the header (with the OBX tag welded to it) on the front. It wouldnt clear the front tranny/motor mount, regardless of how I tried to put it on.
I then concluded - from a lack of instructions - that even though it had the logo on it, it must be the rear piece.
I put the other piece on the front, and it cleared fine. I put the tagged piece on the rear - it cleared fine as well.
Now to putting on the B pipe.....
The front bolted on - no problemo. The rear - WAY OFF......
I'm begginning at this point to think the front and rear are in the wrong places.
With a little finagling, I got the rear bolted on as well, now the Oxy sensor wont go in - not enough clearance.
What I'm concluding is that the front and rear obviously do make a difference.
Can someone confirm that I need to move the tranny mount in order to put the header on?
What a pain in the ass.
Comments, wisecracks, and hopefully assistance, most welcome.
Thanks!

Problem is - I would THINK they would want their logo piece on the front, and it doesnt fit.
Ever heard of anything like this before?

For short the OBX as well as AW header with name plate HAVE TO GO on the back. Ridiculous truth but thats what it is otherwise it won't fit

Is the O2 sensor touching or you're saying that you can't get clearence to get it on and tighten? I've got about a fingernail (thumbnail) space between the two. Try twisting and twisting the O2 sensor in the loosening or removal direction (not sure if its clock or counterclockwise) then install it into the pipe. This should at least help cuz that's what I have to do w/ mine. Y'know what I'm talking bout? Maybe someone can decribe it better.

Pseudomaniac .. I assume you've read the countless threads on OBX headers .. were you surprised that they didnt fit? Did you really think that you would be impressed by these headers?
the problems your describing are the SAME problems I've always read of with these headers. A pipes just down right not lining up, o2 sensor not clearing, etc. These are the same problems everyones had. Do a search and see what the other people have done about it.

Not Suprised - But Haven't Driven it yet either
Generally you get what you pay for...
I read some decent reviews on the OBXs - for $300 shipped, they seemed like a deal.
I had to take the collector back off to get the o2 sensor in.
Wasnt too bad puting it together a second time, after it had bent things a bit.
A tip for everyone - never underestimate the use of a scissor jack. They make nice header holders when you need a 3rd hand
Still need to tighten up a couple connections, but this was going into an 8 hour install because of the problems, so I'm gonna sleep on it.
I will post a nice photographic guide this week sometime on how to do it, right and wrong
Thanks to everyone for their help.
I've got an intake mani / throttle body from a 2001 type S on the way. That should be a fun swap.

Will the mani\throttle body yeild any gains? Has anyone ever done that before? I can't see a Type S manifold\throttle body setup yielding any gains without type s cams, type s compression and type s vtec engagement points. They all have to work together .. does it come with the IMRC setup as well?

Dang, that sucks. Mine was off just a bit, but no problems.
I also put the piece with the name plate on it in the front, and bolted everything down, only to realize later on that it was meant to go the other way around, and had to unbolt everything and start over. So I pried the sumbitch name plate off and beat the shit out of it, just because I was pissed off.
