NGK G Power platinum plugs

Has anyone tried the NGK G Power platinum plugs? They are waaayyy cheaper than either the stock platinum or iridium plugs. I KNOW... everyone says to use the Iridiums, but I don't plan to have this car another 100K miles, probably not even another 10K miles. It is a little slow to start and I thought it is due for some plugs @ 105K miles right now. These are only a few bucks, compared to about $9/each for the other NGK. That is a big difference. Just wondering if anyone is running them, and if all is well.

Check battery first if it is slow to start.

I think the 01/02 CLs came with Lazer Platnium plugs and they didn't go Lazer Iridiums until 03 so you should be fine. Just make sure they fit your car and for the right engine. Don't think they will hold out till another 105k miles like the Lazer Plat/Iridiums do.

You're talking about saving a couple dollars at the expense of your car. Just drop the extra $20 on the correct plugs.
