2ndgentl recently put them on (post 109): https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-cl-p...-949436/page3/

the 6speeds also had a torque damper at the front and rear that the autos didn't have. Since you swapped I doubt you have those. I don't know of any upgraded trans mounts, but I've never searched around.

i swapped the 2 subframes so I have those dampers. The one that holds the rack I bought new 1+ year ago. I forgot about those. Will replace those too.

ok good you have them! you can replace them with NRG dampers for a civic/integra...I can't remember the year. They said it really helped with wheel hop.

Did you notice a difference after the adjustment?

Hitek you really need to dyno that thing. I'd love to see the numbers.

Are you running j32a2 cams or j35a3?

Yeah, mine were long overdue. No misfire, but definitely heard ticking and had a rough idle. She purrs now, even when it's cold. I'm in the Midwestand it's been around 20 degrees lately so I see some cold starts.

J32 heads. Was alot easier than swapping over cams, valves, springs, lmas, sprockets, sensors...

Yeah I will before I do anything. Will be nice to see some base numbers. As soon as it gets warmer and theres a cheap dyno day I definitely will

Good to know im at 208xxx no valve adjustment, but I do have a ticking noise and does idle a little bit rough at times, about how long did it take you?

hitek9,

When you swapped the heads from the J32A2 to the J35A3, did you have them checked out first by a machine shop for damage/warpage before you bolted them up to the J35?

OR

Did you just do a straight transfer directly to the J35?

Thanks,

It was my first time so about 3 hours. I'm confident I can do it in 2 or less now.

Thanks,
I checked them myself at work with this big metal block. Cleaned up the surface with a few different kinds of sand paper. Got lucky.
