Nashua_Night_Hawk headers
install is almost finished
all i have left to do is put the a pipe in place
front and rear headers fit perfectly
i got some pics
i started this exactly 1 hour ago, not bad for hand tools and doing it myself in my house garage with no lift or anything

just finished them, 2 1/2 hours
guess they are stone headers??
test drive will be tonight
just need to clean the front headers off and start her up

crappy stock a pipe out
damn that ugly
amazing how rusty it is, and it's only 1 year and 4 months old
looks so much nicer
rear header, just a FYI it is much easier to remove and install it from the top, all you need to do is remove the strut bar
bolts to the cat nicely
rear header bolts up nice too
so deos the front
clears axle and oil pan nicely
view from where i was, yes i know using only a jack to hold the car is dangerous

got the 3 gaskets that i needed and will be putting them on the car once it cools down, had to do a few things and put almost 100 miles on the headers, they are nice and gold colored now

update
the headers are not good
there are fitment issues
the leaks i had were not from the header to a pipe but from the header to the cylinder heads
the A pipe is on the wrong angle and won't let the headers tighten down flat onto the heads, which is cause a huge leak. i have to put the stock ones back on

I guess it's back on the fence for me
Hopefully, this can be corrected.

1) You attach all bolts and tighten the nuts by hand ONLY!
2) You torque the nuts of the headers to the block first
3) You torque the nuts of the headers to downpipe next
4) You torque the nuts of the downpipe to Catalic Conv third.
This should solve the problem Also, note that on the stock OEM headers the The holes of the screws on the headers to downpipe are larger then the screws to give a leeway so the headers can be tilted left or right... Just look at the OEM headers and you get the idea.

If the headers came with gaskets, take them off and put the stock gaskets on. They will hold the seal better after the headers settle into shape from torque-ing them into place.
they still do not fit correctly and are leaking from the head and no where else
i tried new stock gaskets, tightening them the way he posted and nothing fixes the leak
i'm sending these back to you tomorrow morning for a refund

Hey Red, did you get your AW headers yet?
Tunaboy told me that after he picked them up from that ebay guy he installed them and had no fitment issues. He's liking the gains a lot, he just didn't have a lot of time to test them.

mod addict , you believe the thin steel oem gaskets should be used for the head to header assembly in lieu of the composite gasket included with header shipment? (i have continued slight leakage problems on the stone hrds since the original install)

The OEM gaskets for the head flange worked better then the ones that came with the headers. You should be able to use the ones that came off the car.
