That trans isn't going to win the battle against more power but if you must, just swap in a J35A3 (01-02 MDX). You'll save enough cash & have a ton of fun.

Even if you swap the transmission, an all-motor build isn't going to get you much more than 300HP at the wheels. There's not a ton available in the way of aftermarket for these engines and forced induction is the way you need to go if you want to get more power out of them (even then it's not that great of a return).

Auto Trans was previously rebuilt by previous owner to withstand more hp , Eventually going to swap to 6 speed . but just look for what i would need to make a 3.6 or to make at least 315 hp

Where are you located? I have a 6-speed transmission with your name on it!

LOL, yeah, I'd be betting on that extra robust automatic. Not. I'm thinking now that your unit can "withstand more hp", it is easily capable of tolerating 150 hp.

This. There was nothing they did in that rebuild that allowed it to handle more HP. Either they lied to you or their rebuilder did but unless they redesigned the internals, there's nothing they could have done to make it more robust. There use to be rebuilders that offered such things for the CL-S transmissions and they never held more HP and they didn't even last longer than a normal rebuild.

These automatics are made of glass. The only way to make them better is to replace them with an entirely different model of transmission.

Save the money for mods for a rebuild when it's needed, because it will be needed. Or save yourself the hassle right now, swap it for a J35A3 as previously suggested and then you can consider some mods.
