Caliper upgrades

So do the brembo brakes that come on the newer tl fit 01-03 cl-s and tl-s? cuz those would look like a bbk on our cars and they can be had for cheap i bet

They require a different bracket and they are not as good as the Advics on the RL.

BTW, the "Brembo" calipers on the TL arent made by Brembo. The name is licensed, thats it. Many manufacturers do that.

Surprisingly not many "Brembo" calipers on OEM cars are made by Brembo.

Does the RL brake conversion count as a BBK?

I would say the rotors, pads, brake fluid, and steel lines are more important than the 2 piston calipers.

My new legend calipers came in the mail yesterday from advance auto. I'm still waiting on the f+r ebc slotted usr sport rotors to come in the mail and the rear ebc red stuff brake pads since they were special order. I already have new russell braided stainless steel lines and ebc red stuff front pads.

I'm going to remove my oem rear calipers and brackets so I can powder coat everything at once. Then I will install everything else. Hopefully it all makes a noticeable difference.

Probably a crazy question, but does anyone know if there is a dual rear piston option available?

I'm pretty sure there are none because the way are parking brake is set up. The only thing I have seen is from rotora and that's a couple thousand dollars

I figured as much, but an aftermarket option is not an option for the money.

Unless I can find a WICKED deal on a rear Rotora/Wilwood setup.
