Question NGK Lazer Platinum or Lazer Iridium Plugs for 2003 Acura CL-S?

NGK Lazer Platinum or Lazer Iridium Plugs for my 2003 Acura CL-S? I'm changing my spark plugs this week. Which ones do I buy? I'm looking for the best quality. I'm not worried about the pricing. Any advise is deeply appreciated. Thanks.

Alot of people like NGK, I run heat range 8 Bosch iridiums. About $7 a plug.
You might not want to be colder than a 7 if your engine is N/A whatever brand you choose.

Platinums for automatics,Thats just crazy.
Its the same engine in both dude.
The reason one up's to iridium plugs is because they are less prone to fouling and will generally last longer.

Factory says platinum for autos and iridium for manuals. I just went by that. Figure the guys that made the engine know their stuff.

Platinum are generally 40k-50k miles while iridium are 80k-100k according to NGK.

So have any of you's or anyone you know use Iridium on an Automatic Type-S? And if so, how's the performance?

They used the iridium plugs in the 6 speed. For the automatics, they used the platinum plugs. I put iridium in my 2001 type S and it runs just fine.

So, quick question, I was planning to swap out plugs for my
2003 3.2L Automatic. Since it has 109 K miles, should I use the
iridium? Or the platinum? Thanks

Will this be a problem? NGK iridium spark plugs in a 2003 3.2L CL, Automatic, that's NOT a Type S?
I only chose them because someone said the tend to not foul easily, & I'm already at 109 k mileage.
So if there's ANY reason I should Not use them? Please advise before they arrive. ( Ordered Online)

If there is any difference between platinum and iridium, it is tiny. Supposedly, the iridium is better, but either will go 100,000 miles and show absolutely no wear. If the iridium is listed for your car, go for it. I always try to put in the best available. I'm also of the same opinion as richardparker on the bosch oe iridium and platinum. Despite being heresy on a japanese car forum, I think they work as well as or better than ngk, at a lower price. They also have the supposed performance advantage of a cutaway secondary electrode which ngk only offers on their ix plugs, which don't last as long as the laser plugs.

Iridium is fine as well. In fact, I swapped out my platinum plugs for iridium.
