Just a few questions...
I have the worse luck in the world when it comes to cars; I have a 2001 Acura CL-P, automatic, with 75,000 miles on it and finally am having problems with the tranny. Yesterday on my way home from work I was going around 75mph keeping up with traffic and then I hit the gas a little and the whole fucking car jerks so hard I feel like I have whiplash from it. That’s when it all started; from then on it got worse. When I am driving on the road normally, like grandma driving, it takes about 7-10 seconds for the car to shift gears. And when I slow down and the tranny downshifts on its own the car shakes and stutters. Now I have a few questions:
(1) I have the extended warranty (7 years 100,000 miles); will the tranny be fixed for free at the dealer?
(2) All that I have performance done to the car is AEM CAI, would the dealer give me problems when it comes to fixing the car under warranty? FYI- The dealer I am going to is Acura of Bedford Hills, NY-because I know some dealers are more lenient then other.
(3) Has anyone ever had problems with Acura of Bedford Hills, NY dealer?

1. Yes
2. No
3. Not sure.
Welcome to the failed tranny club. Whatever dealer you choose has had dozens if not hundreds of CLs come through for new trannies.

It turns out that the car got worse. The next day i drove the car and it only had one gear, and no reverse!!! I brought the car to the dealer and they finaly got back to me and told me the entire tranny is shot. They are ordering a whole new tranny and i will get it back in a week. I am not sure if i believe everything they say but as long as the car is fixed and i dont have to pay anyting, and no more problems thats fine. Just wanted to let you know what was happening
