for starters a 50 shot, dyno tune and see what i get, with my built engine i want to see around 350whp and 320wtq, then do a 75 shot and dyno tune. last resort a 100 shot and dyno tune.

350whp would be nice....... i may do the spacer mod too and add the P2R plenums... i know the gains are small with this mod but how much power do you think the spacer will produce?

I'm sure you do know it's going to take less nos to equal how your spraying now.I definitly would'nt jam the 125 direct unless you have a spare motor ready to go before you start playing with the DD.

i have a spare motor.

heres the thing with wet or dry thats not direct port. each cylinder gets an diff amount of nitrous every time. it could be very little nitrous at times and more nitrous at times. a direct port wet show gives teh same amount of nitrous into each cylinder every time. its more stable and more predictable.

i will be running the greddy e-blue.

just put the spacer on, had to do some cutting to the hood and spacers at the hinges. making a diy as i type. i feel and head the power. before (with bent valves) my car never broke traction in 1st. no at any mph in 1st gear, it will break the tires loose. tried it on diff pavements and speeds. also feel way better pick up in the higher rpms.

intake spacer mod FTMFW. way better than adding an intake but not quite as good as headers. anyway. for $70 not bad at all.

You say beter than adding a intake.Do you mean CAI or intake manifold ? This mod work on clp too, I could use more volume in my intake manifold.
Ok and I feel slow whats FTMFW.

I seen, and it looks good.No cut threw.
I think it would actually look sick if you did polish the whole intake manifold and get the top plate wraped in cf so it match the hood. With a cut threw.
That would be the sickest looking new shit going.

cf wrap, ftl. not into the whole polish this and that. its all getting painted flat black. i have about 1/4" of room left till the engine hits the hood. i can press on the hood and feel it hit the engine 1/4" down

i was in pain when i had to cut the hood for the hood pins, this was easier on me. no cf got cut, just the fiber glass, im gonn silicone the edges of the cuts so u cant see inside and maybe it will look cleaner. also weight reduction, at least a pound or two

id say about half. 3rd gen side is milling off 7mm, but they also dont need such a big spacer in the back.

what's the difference between yours and the 17108-RDJ-A00 (the 3g guys use)? appears it's 01-02 vs 03-06 MDX ? and the one you use is 2x as expensive?

i know ours is more expensive. the way and shape the egr is positioned. u can go ahead and try it but not saying that ur nto gonna have a leak.

i bought that one and the egr was off a bit. and i dont feel like doing the job twice if i can get the right part and have it over with.

yea.. rajca we all commend you for all the modding you've done to make this work. But for people like myself who just want to bolt on power and not have any extra issues because of it, what size spacer could you put in and not have any clearance issue?

I got the P2R plenums which already have LESS clearance, so what size spacer would I be able to add in there without having other issues?

Not sure. The 3rd gen guy mill 7mm and don't mess with the hood. But than again, I found out that they don't have to mill the spacer and just cut the hood brace and be good. As u can tell, we can't do that. Get the p2r thermo gasket and leave it. Spending $80 for this mod,and having to mill the spacer down to about half an inch is pointless imo, that if have thr p2r plenums

yea I already got thermo gaksets all of them. and they did make a difference. the plenums already protrude out of the engine bay if u pop the hood and look from the side.. i'm surprised the plenums clear as it is.. that's why i was asking, but it seems like it's pointless as you've stated... tru

Looks good, I know my hood would end up flying up on me as I'm driving down the highway at 70mph.

That'd be fun.

Good luck with the work.
