moral dilemma? I would just own up to it. If the car you hit has damage they may review their security video tapes to see what could have happened , then you'll REALLY be screwed.

I have one but it has a scratch on it and one of the mounting bolts broke off.

Does selling you this tail make me an accomplice in your crime though?

If it was parked where it wasn't supposed to be, you should have just said something. Now you have to get a new taillight before work or you'll be even more screwed than if you would just have said something.
Good luck though, hope it all works out for you bro.

No way no accomplice, will the light securely stay on and look flush, and how bad is the scratch?

They might notice the change in tail light style and get suspicious.

It went good so far so good, I just got here...

I wanna thank everyone on the board for helping me out and offering up your parts..

I called a couple of junk yards this morning and found one in Avenell NJ exit12 on the turnpike.. I got it for $100 with the bulbs they just cut the wire to unhook it LAzyness... Very easy to install..

saw the car i bumped in the cleaning bay getting buffed out, no way they will even look at me, cuz i did damage a few cars in my past and always fessed up cuz it was all my fault, this one the car was not suppose to be parked there thats why i didnt fess up , I think im in the clear though!!

Thank u everyone..even though some people might bust balls most the people are there for everyone.. So thanks alot..

This is the best most helpfull forum I have ever been part of even though there are some ball busters..

AGAIN thanks you!!

It's kinda disturbing how no one on this forum thinks this guy was in the wrong for committing a hit and run, especially after previously damaging "a few cars". Any other forum would have given him a lot of shit. And it doesn't matter that the car wasn't supposed to be there. You've got eyes and mirrors for a reason unless you drive like a dumbass.

But I'm not gonna drag this thread on since the incident is already over.
