HID headlights and ice
As much as I like these headlights, I found something that I don't like. Sunday evening, I was driving in a snowstorm, and after driving about forty miles, I couldn't see anymore. I stopped, and found that the headlights were covered in ice. I had to clean off the ice so I could keep driving. I have never had this happen before with aerodynamic composite headlights. I suspect that they don't generate enough heat to melt the ice. Anybody else ever have this happen?

HIDs do not generate heat like halogen lights. There's really nothing you can do about it. Apply rain-x and hope ice does not form on the headlights is all I can think of.
