Smile Hey Guys! New to AcuraZine!

As the title states I'm a newbie. I just bought a 03 CLS6 Anthracite Grey (No Nav) few months ago and am absolutely in love with her. Runs and Drives amazingly but unfortunately the body is rough so I'm trying to save the absurd amount of money to have it fixed and repainted but I was trying to find out if there's a place I can have the ecu flashed or something in the mean time? I asked a couple tuning places around central mass and no one can help me lol. Thanks for any input.

Or if there are other somewhat cheap ways to get a little extra power out of these motors

Our ecu isn't flashable. It's not a turbo car you can remap. Most people start with bolt-ons. Headers are your best bet, do some searching here.

Like mentioned, ecu cannot be flashed. Only real option is stand alone ecu like aem ems2 or infinity. No point doing that till you have full bolt ons.

The CL is a North America only car, so it does not have good aftermarket support like Japan market cars.

Intake, exhaust, and pulley are your best route.

For intake you can buy name brand 3" or build your own 3.5-4".

Bore oem throttle body or run b series 74 or 76mm tb.

Port oem IM and run plenum spacers or p2r plenums. 4g TL Magnesium IM is another option.

Port the runners.

Headers and exhaust. Header can do ebay, comptech, or custom. Exhaust you can do tanabe or custom.

Pulley you can do light weight or underdrive.

My car with these mods makes 50 whp and 40 wtq over stock. Not bad for bolt ons without a tune.

Removing weight is the best performance gains though. My CL is 800 lbs lighter than stock.

I've been looking at the pulley kits and exhausts. I found an old thread about the Magnaflow 14832's but I'm torn cause the Tanabe cat back sounds awesome as well lol. So far I'm extremely happy with this car, I didn't know they were as fast as they are.

Just go with crank pulley, others aren't worth money.

Those magnaflow's are just universal mufflers that need to be welded to your current exhaust.

The tanabe is a full Catback designed to bolt right up to CL.

Exhaust just depends on how much you want to spend, what sound you are after, and what compromises are you willing to take for maximum performance.

If you just want louder exhaust, mufflers would be way to go.

For price of new tanabe you could also have a shop build full custom exhaust if you have trusty shop.
