Nice, looks very clean. Where did you get your flowmaster exhaust? I have them to, but they were already on the car when I bought it. You must have different ones because mine stick to far and it bothers me.

yes anything like this stupid shit here...
makes me want to take their keys and drop it in a sewer, because they are always driving slow at insignificant bumps, they can't turn completely so they end up taking up 2 lanes when turning, and my favorite, they can't even pull into a driveway.
for a demo car its fine, but for a car on the street it is a waste of a car, thats my opinion and im sticking to it, I fuckin hate it.

i think it looks stupid anyway... IMHO a car looks the best with the widest tires u can fit on it and not lose any driveability. and lowered to a point that does not really affect where and how u drive.
I also like when the rear is SLIGHTLY higher than the front .... LIKE my car... but no one has ever noticed.. which is just the way i like it.

YES! Finally somebody who is not afraid to speak out! I hate "stancing", "hellaflush", and all the rest. I like a lowered car, but when you cant get up a driveway, its too low. Thats why I'm keeping my car no lower than 1 inch below stock.
Nice CL, btw. Thats one of my favorite colors for these cars.

Hey BH, nice to see another SDG like mine! (And for some of you others, please don't ever call it Pimp Daddy Gold again, as it's just not a nice association for those of us who happen to like this color but are not actual pimps. It's called Sundance Gold... Got that? Nothing pimpy about it.... at all...)
How did you make the roadlamps yellow? And how is the front plate stuck on? I run without a front plate in CA....

That off center plate kills the front of the car.. I moved mine in the center and located it right in the lower grill area then rounded off the bottom of the plate the be flush with the bumper... Thanks to a few curbs that is lol.. But it's gotta be center on these cars.
Yours looks like it was put on with sticky tack for a quick picture. It just looks totally out of place to me.
Just sayin...

There are a few not stanced. I saw a stanced scion tc driving 20mph in a 50 mph zone forcing all the other cars to go around him. What a joke.
It seems the new fad now is to build your street car to look like a racecar without ever planning to autox or track it. They just like the look. This bothers me more than stanced cars because people see my car and throw it in that category of fake track cars.

Sorry for the off topic post op. Your car looks very clean. I have a few opinions for the car.
Have you considering going with 03 headlights and taillights? I think the front grille would look better if the trim was car colored and the back part was black, in effect reversed. I also think license plate looks odd. I would also paint door handles and lower side mirror section body color.

I hope you are joking. That wheel/tire setup is an abomination. The whole point of the s2k is performance and that setup ruins that.
It might make sense for a show only car because you need stanced wheels to win awards. A s2k as a show only car would be very sad tho also. They deserve to be driven hard, not hard parked. Buy a luxury car for that.

If I'm going to make an assumption about a particular car/driver, the first thing I look at are the tires. Tires tell you everything you need to know about the function of the car.

For instance, a particular set of tires can be made for straight line racing, which would result in softer side walls which produce in better off the line acceleration due to the sidewalls giving in to the torque applied allowing for more traction. The side effects is that the tires will not perform well during hard cornering scenarios. Thread wear will usually run 200 or less. (street legal drag radials)
If the tires are made to handle hard cornering scenarios, then the sidewalls of those particular tires will be hardened in comparison to the rest. This will allow for greater turn in speeds and stability when applying forces at a lateral level, but results in piss poor acceleration off the line. With the side walls made to handle cornering speeds, it would produce an induction of traction loss off the line due to nothing being able to absorb the shock of the torque off the line. Thread wears usually run 200 or less with the associated tires as well. (lots of options here. 200 thread wear will consist of your street compounds where as the R compounds are running 140 or less thread wear)
And then there is what we refer to as Tonka Tires. Just normal tires made for everyday use. Thread wear will usually sit between 300 and 500.
If you can recognize the tire imo, then you can usually make an educated guess as to what the car was intended for.

Michelin tires are good if you want high miles. There more of a luxury type
Even if it says different. If you're seeking performance, I'd recommend Nitto. Had a set hell of a grip! Don't get crap for miles though.

That was exactly my point. I know what I'm talking about ! I've sold tires for 16 years. That's kind of the reason I said it depends on what you're seeking! Factory tires are shit anyway usually.

Why even have a jack in the photo? Might as well throw it away as there is not enough clearance to slip underneath the tab.

OP, good lookin CL!!
Constructive criticism. Id go back to the stock grill. Just that gold behind the black looks pretty ricey to me. I can dig the wheels and that exhaust looks great. Either black out the grill or better yet go stock! Great start. Cant wait to see when you go lower.
Whooooa. I guess it is a good thing your car isnt slammed. You should stop caring about other peoples property though.
Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsches, and a lot more cant pull into a driveway like mine. Do you "fucking hate it" when a Lamborghini slows down for a speed bump?
Because you sound like the crack head soccer moms that have to SLAM on their brakes in their Tahoe because they couldnt comprehend the low car infront of them is slowing down. Maybe if people just took their damn time they wouldnt pop blood vessels when a low car slows down in front of them.
Hell I see normal people that just drive slow take bumps and driveways slower than I could in my Integra. Do you hate them too or is it acceptable because they drive slow regardless?
You know it IS possible to avoid potholes. I.e. drive the speed limit and ride the lines when a hole comes up or better yet know the damn roads you drive on and take the better lanes.
...muffler system? id be far more worried about my oil pan than my "muffler system" but I guess mufflers are the only thing a lot of you guys have to worry about so makes sense.
Suspension parts? What suspension part could you possibly lose from snagging a bump or pot hole?
Why have a jack? Because ya know the photographer just put that there for the photo. It is very easy to get a car like that off the ground. Ramps can be made to get even the lowest car up an inch or two to get a jack underneath.
Even if the front lip is scraping you can always back up onto blocks then jack the car up from the side.
People find a way. Believe me.

First, I would like to see how this car will be going around in NYC. Each time it goes over a speed bump or pot hole, it would loose a suspension part or a part from the muffler system.

That's what I got on here to do. If anybody wants to act like a little bitch like this person I could care less to be on this website in the first place. And oh yeah, you mentioned meds, I have your meds hangin, looks like your late for your dose. I ain't got no more time for you. I'm too damn old to be waste my time a little bitches like you. If I'd see you on the streets I'd tear you up boy. peace.

hahahahahahahah Oh god I wish that was to me.
Do you have kids?
Good job not caring but your approximate 120 word rant says otherwise.
