got some cracks in the paint on rear bumper

as the title says I got some cracks in the paint on my rear bumper and was wondering the best way to repair it so it looks better?

depends on how big the area is and the severity of the damage. also depends on the shop, as that alone would vary the prices greatly. best bet is to get a free estimate on it.

its on the upper part of the first corner on the bumper Its really not that noticeable unless in direct sunlight the camera doesn't even pick it up unless im right up to it

Just have a shop sand it, primer and paint the area....if they are a good shop, they can blend it in flawlessly.

went to a body shop today and they quoted me 485 dollars just to repaint a little section. I think I will just live with what I got

Thats what I was thinking......hell, take the bumper off and bring it too them! Its only a few bolts and tabs, dont pay them the labor of doing it for you bro.

WOW....that's a lot just for the rear bumper. I just had my front bumper and rear repainted for 400

As I said, take it off for them and bring just the bumper to them......you would be amazed at how much they charge you to remove a few bolts and tabs, and then replace it!

someone hit my front bumper last week at Walmart (i go in to save some $ and end up with a broken bumper ) and just took off. Now, i need a new one and have to get it repainted so it could be worse for you
