Nice money factor Acura is offering (.00140). What do you guys think of this deal:

msrp: 28700 + (got a couple accessories thrown in)

cap cost: 26900

residual: 13585

mileage: 20k/year (39 mo. = 65k total miles)

payment: 412 + tax

Residual value is little high considering you're going in @ 20k miles a year (that's a LOT). Based on what I put into LeaseCompare.com, 15k/yr + initial odometer reading of 16.5k miles (equivalent to your 20k/yr), you get residual of $12,628. Guess that's good for you.

Your money factor is low even with only $1800 down (excellent credit eh ). If you're going w/ a 39 mo. lease, I believe it is going through Honda's finance, so you can get that rate from any Honda/Acura dealer...

Only way I think you could do any better is on the negotiated price. Depending how agressive you want to be/can be, tell them you want it for $500 (or more) below invoice. If they give you crap, tell them they still have their dealer holdback and you can walk down the street and get the same rates from their competitors.

IMHO, it's still a decent deal as-is. Better question is is it a 6 speed? G/L

I too got the .0014 lease rate from Acura. To determine the approximate interest rate this equates to, multiply it by 2400 and you get 3.36%! This is a great deal, offered by Acuara due to poor sales on the CL.

When you multiply your payment of 412 by 39 payments and add the residual in, you will wee you're paying $29,654 in total before tax and license over the life of the lease including the buyout.

This is a GREAT deal for a Japanese product. The American car companies offer better with 0% financing.

Still not bad for a wierd way of financing a car. Also, I've been told you can usually get a good deal at the end of the lease if you want to buy it out (less than residual).

Hi all-I too am interested in leasing. Since I have a year of law school left, I would like to lease to keep my payments down until I became a slave to the law firm Anyways, is there any way I could lease a CL (or a comparable car) for about $350/mo? I know you're not supposed to put much down on a lease but I really need a manageable payment. I guess I just want to see what people put down to get their payments comfortably below $400. Thanks in advance.

This was before the breaks in the financing, but I think ours broke down something like this:
Money factor was equiv to ~ 4% APR.
Negotiated price: $27.5k
Downpayment: $3k
39 mo lease, 15k miles/yr
Residual: $16k ish

Payment is $353/mo including tax. Basically in the same boat you're looking at. Decided we'd rather pay more in the long term than to have a $700/mo car payment so we can save some money for downpayment on a home next yr.
