Finally...I am a proud CL-S 6MT Owner
Well, after 6+ months of lurking here and drooling over all of your CLs, I finally found the exact one I wanted. a 2003 Agean Blue Pearl CL Type-S with a 6 speed manual tansmission. I absolutely love this car! Acura Certified with 12mo/12k mile full warranty and 100K mile powertrain warranty. Although I am paying quite a bit for it, I think it's worth it. Interior looks brand new, exterior has a couple little rock chips on the hood. I can wait to do a full detail on it. Anyway, on to the pics...

Congrats! I moved from a slushbox to the 6MT and even though it is a bit of a pain in traffic, it is such a fun car to drive. You will love it! The motor really comes alive with a MT.
The APB is a great colour, tough to keep looking good, but it looks great when it is clean.

Thanks for the replies. It doesn't have Navigation but I really didn't want it because that would have put it out of my price range. It has 48K miles on it but with the condition it's in, it has to highway miles. The interior looks and smells brand new. The more I drive this car, the more I love it. I just think "damn this car is awesome" everytime I look at it lol.
I will probably start off with a CAI, then lower it. Some headers and a supercharger down the road as money permits. I'm supposed to get married later this year so I can't spend too much on it now as far as mods go.
Anyone with 6spds, does your clutch seem very sensitive to engage? As in, the clutch is disengaged and when you let it out slow it grabs pretty quick? I haven't driven any newer manual trans cars but the ones I used to drive , I could feather the clutch for a much smoother 1st gear start and shift from 1st to 2nd. I figure this clutch prob has more clamping force to hold the power. I'm not complaining or anything. I just had to get used to it a little. Other than that, no complaints here.
I was hesitant to drive it out to the club last night to meet some friends but I did anyway. Well, some idiot spit in 2 places on my new baby. At least it wasn't keyed or anything. Being that it's winter here and most cars look like crap from the snow and salt, my car stood out as being super shiny and nice. This is a major GM town here and imports are shunned and frowned upon. I had to drive about 60 miles to get this car because there aren't many around here. It's funny when I tell people what I bought, they always go "what's that?" with a confused look on their face. Well, enough with my rant.

CLS 6MT Navi
The clutch is a little sensitive, but it makes for quick, short shifts. Took me a month to get acclimated to it. I like to watch the techs at the dealer try to drive it, half the time they kill it. I love the clutch and tranny in this car. Hope no GMers mess with your car.

Congrats on the purchase. Welcome to the small club of us 6 Speed CL owners. They only made around 2000.
I love my ABP CL-S but the only drawback is that it shows ALL dirt and is next to impossible to keep clean.

Beautiful Color! I would have been one of the 2000! I decided not to because of the possibility of having to depend on others to drive who cant drive stick when i get too drunk/intoxicated.
It would have been a catastrophy letting a Non-Manual driver try to drive your stick. Oh man! I can hear it right now!! But then yet again, I haven't had one incident where my friend had to drive my automatic car neither. Oh well! Im satisfied with my slushbox!

The biggest bang for your buck is definately the CAI. I really love the sound of the AEM... but there are also lots of guys who like the CT Icebox. If you can swing the CT headers, well... just suffice to say they add a lot. Replacing the crank pulley (UR) is also a source of cheap horsepower.
I do not have the the S/C... and don't think that it is necessary (though Mr Steve might have a different opinion) I think you will start to find that traction is a real problem (along with wheel hop) with just intake and headers. The 6MT is as fast stock as 5AT with I/H.
I have the Eibach drop kit... and quite frankly, if I had to do it over again I wouldn't. It is just too much drop (3") and I have problems wearing the insides of my tires as they cannot be adjusted fully with a wheel alignment. I wish the CT springs were still available... though lots of guys are having rusting problems with them... they had a less severe drop. The CT sways are a much better way to tighten up the suspension without messing up camber.
You might also want to think about replacing those fake vents and put some real fog lights in there. Lots of us have popped in the road lamps from an 01 / 02 CLS.
And yes the clutch is pretty touchy... you will not only get used to it, but will get to love it!
Have fun!

I got the 60K full warranty too ( Acura Certified) but my car has 48K on the clock so it would be for another 12K miles. I paid $20,877 with 48k on the clock but the car is exceptionally clean. Engine bay and interior look brand new. Exterior has one scratch on the rear bumper and 2 small rock chips on the hood but they threw in a bottle of touch-up paint .
I got much more used to the clutch after a few more hours of driving. As far as mileage goes, I'm sure mine was close to 10 mpg  . I burned through half a tank in less than 100 miles but it was a lot of fun. I didn't drive it yesterday because after I washed the spit off of it, it started raining so I just parked it for the day. I don't know but when you guys look at your car do you just get a big grin on your face?

I don't know exactly whose car this is but I know they are on here. This picture and this car made me decide that I had to get the Agean Blue CL-S. This picture has also been my desktop background for a few months now. So thanks for the inspiration to this owner.

Well that pic looks a little ps'd, to be honest. Its not quite THAT electric in real life. Here's a real, untouched pic of mine.
If I was to do it again I would get black. Dont get me wrong I like the color, but its no easier to keep clean than black, and black + chrome = tits.
