yea im having this concern w/ my cuzn's car, he jus purchased a 01s wit lik 170k+ and he says the car drives good but wen i checkd how the engine shifts looks lik it might need mounts to me. i jus did the simple test of holdin 1 foot on the brake and put into gears n seeing how the engine adjust to gear changing etc. so wit that being said i was kinda spectacle that if the engine is jumpin how it was it could b that the mounts where bad. so in the shape the car lookd to me i was wondering if he should do a flush w/ doing all the basic essentials wen you get a used Vehicle or jus leave it the way it is and buy new mounts. also my car i brought w/ 118k on the dash and had to get the tranny rebuilt wen i purchased it. now currently i have 150 on the dash with the rebuilt tranny still under warranty for a couple more miles havent really had any major problems with it so far like hard slippage but its currently in the tranny shop bc my check engine lite came on for a torque converter code lik 0740 or suttin lik dat which i had no idea had a problem. but after reading all this im wondering wat i should do after the warranty is up as far as this flushing or draining issue you guys are discussing. my car should be out of the shop 2morrow so im definitely gonna b askin the mechanic these questions bc im not tryna purchase another tranny.
