Converting 2002 CL-S to daylight running lights

Acura electrical repair manual shows wiring for relay box with empty slot for DRL relay.

Has anybody tried installing a Honda DRL relay to see if DRL work or does it require additional conversion parts?

I have been able to get DRL relay part number from a Canada dealer but want expert opinion before I buy it

Thanks

All CLs in Canada have DRL, so they work. I can snap a pic of something if you need it.

DRL as in fogs? Or in the actual headlight housing because I just bought fogs to go in place of my fog inserts and I dont have the wiring for them

I’m also in US and would like to add factory daytime running lights functionality to my 01 CLS. As I understand it, the DRL uses the high beams on half voltage.
