I don't like the ABP / CF Hood combination.

Def. not with gold wheels.

On a side note...

Got any pics of the CLS?

All I saw was the G37.

I love it too...but don't think it looks as great on some colors.

Anthracite is def. a color that looks great with CF.

Evan, I think they have come down in price...you should get one.

Is there an AM CL here with a CF hood? I know it would look good, but don't think I seen it on a AM

I love it on SSM.

Some people had it on SMR but they ended up taking it off.

cf everything!!! if I could...

I have a silver cl so the contrast is quite appealing... then again I'd probably want silver cf that way it'd be more discrete... hood and trunk.. lol

Yeah...it's almost inevitable...unless you don't drive your car outside.

Just got to get it wetsanded and re-cleared (with UV)...then you're back to normal.

Mine is from VIS...has nothing to do with the brand but the quality of clear coat and quality of UV protection.

VIS might use a higher quality clear which allows theirs to last longer vs. their competitors.

I'd have to look at it because my first thought was that was too many colors going on.

ABP + CF Hood + Gunmetal Rims...sounded like a better combo.

^ Yep......NBP would be key for me! I think I just may have to see what VIS can do for me on the C/F hood & trunk! My only fear with the trunk will be my system, as I am pushing 2 - 12W6V2's and have heard of the air pressure form the bass cracking the C/F trunks. Any input would be appreciated!

I think ABP would look really hot with a CF hood, but not with the gold wheels. ABP, CF hood and charcoal wheels would look amazing IMO. If I was in your position id think about either selling the gold wheels and buying charcoal ones or just getting the gold ones powdercoated to match the CF color.

Thats just my opinion and my , in the end its your car and you can do whatever you want with it. If you like the ABP/CF/Gold wheels look then do it. But if it were me id change my wheels to stick with the ABP/CF theme.

GL with it

By flex...do you mean warp? I wonder how much of a difference it would make if I dynamatted the shit out of it?! LOL, I just think that a C/F hood and trunk with a C/F M5 lip would set my baby OFF!

not warp. just flex when the base hits. it will vibrate more then the stock on but other than that, it will be good. remember cf is stronger than steel.

Just double-checked my source.

Going off memory didn't serve me well.

So figuring about 60-70 lbs...figuring it's about 60 sq. ft. of material to do two layers in the trunk.

Does that sound right?
