CD issue

Hello all,

I tried doing a search but found no threads with this issue, so hopefully someone has had this issue and can help. I was driving back from a short trip, and finished a CD and the system went to change to the next CD. I heard some whirling sounds and after a few seconds I get an error and it kicks me out to radio. I try to go back to CD and same noise then error. I tried the eject and load buttons to no avail. Any one have any information on this? I would like my CD's back but more so, be able to listen to them. Thanks in advance.

Literally, when my OEM CD stacker jammed, I had to remove the radio, radio face plate and then the CD stacker to recover the stuck CD's. Put it all back together, hooked up the electrics and loaded/unloaded the CD's a few times and it functioned without issue.

To get at the radio you have to remove the center console and the console panel that surronds the shifter etc. It is alot of busy work but it can be done. Luckily, the CD stacker has not jammed since, if it does I will just upgrade to a better/different unit after going through all that work.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping not to take the radio out and apart, but kinda figured I would have to. Have taken it out to be out of the way, so know what's needed. Mostly just time. Thanks

First try disconnecting the battery, and try again.

Werd. Mine started jamming years ago. Put in a nice AppRadio with a touchscreen. So much better to be able to stream Pandora, Apple Music, and more, along with display Google Maps, Waze, and any other app I want. Should have done it when I go the car instead of waiting a couple years but the small price was well worth it.

Thank you very much!!!!! I did not want to take the unit out or disconnect the battery unless I really had to. Pulled the fuse, waited a minute, put it back in, entered code and all is happy and good!! Thanks again
