CAI causing possible sputtering at acceleration..

Anyone here with an AEM CAI ever had problems with sputtering under hard acceleration? I am assuming it's because I need to change or clean the filter.

i have the same prob. i accelerate hard and the car shifts harshly.

like having your car with the a/c on, on a hot day. the car is noticeably different. shifting becomes rough. and you could say it feels like it is slipping.

yeah, i had a vacuum leak in my tl, and under hard acceleration, it felt like someone put the car in neutral and then slipped it back into drive. Check all hoses and make sure that the filter is clean. It can trick you into thinking that you have a tranny problem. Good Luck.
