Question Anyone replace their spoiler brake light assy??

I removed the brake light assy in my spoiler the other day with intentions of replacing a couple of bulbs that had gone. Noticed that it is all one assembly wired somewhere into the spoiler. Has anyone replaced theirs already, and is it a pain in the ass to re-wire if I just buy the replacement from the dealer? Or, is it just worth it to pay the $30-40 to have the dealer do it? I appreciate any feedback.

Lightbulb

I thought the OEM spoiler had LED's. They should last a life time. Call Honda Customer Service and complain. Honda will probably cover it since it is not a normal failure.

I have the cleared one also. It's very easy to replace. 2 screws & a harness plug & it's out. However it is a set of LED's so they should not burn out.

There was a place that made them. He only made some. I don't remember who it was. It was last year sometime.

It's for O.G. members only, not 's.

There was a group buy awhile back. They would only make them if we did a group buy because they were a custom product.

I like the cleared out strip...I'll keep my eyes open for anyone selling. In the meantime I'll prolly have to get the stock red one.
