Aisin water pump??
 

Looks like the Aisin is the best aftermarket water pump for our cars. I've heard bad things about the Gates water pump. Unfortunately, it seems the manufacturer for the OEM Honda water pumps isn't selling the part publicly.

Interesting that you mention the 'bad things' you've heard about an aftermarket Gates water pump.

In short on a similar note, the video below, according to the mechanic that made it, shows where a P0389 could possibly be triggered by using aftermarket parts on Honda's. He claims the vehicle in the video had an aftermarket timing belt, cam pulley and cam sensor installed on it and it kept throwing a P0389 (due to subtle differences in the manufactured size of the belt and pulley and the cheaper Chinese cam sensor).:dunno:

He replaced all those parts with OEM honda parts and the code went away.:shrug: Check it out.:)
