Alright were do I begin, my family business purchased a 99 odyssey (4spd auto) to sell. The trans fail on the van and needed to be replaced, however i was in luck when I purchased a 99 accord V6 (J30) Engine and trans combo a while back.
So, I took the trans off the engine and sent over to shop be installed, now here the funny part. My shop transmission guy states that the 99 AV6 trans will not bolt up to the odyssey.
I laughed so hard to the point tears were rolling, I could not believe that this man has been doing tranny work for 30 years and knew nothing about the inter change of honda and acura j-series trans swaps.
