6MT Hesitation in 1st Gear

Lately, over the past few days I've noticed that when rolling out of a stop, in 1st gear, letting the clutch out (gassing it), I get a noticeable vibration & shaking throughout the pedal, and slightly feel the same throughout the car.

I don't think it's clutch related since it only happens in 1st gear. (I can start the car in 2nd and it DOES NOT have the same problem)

Car only has 25K on it.

Any suggestions?

BTW, it's not the feeling as though you may stall the car... it feels totally different. Sorry, can't describe it any better than that

Which pedal are you getting the vibrations from?

Clutch disc may be glazed causing chatter?

I get the vibration throughout the car. Happens around 1.5k rpm....

If it's glazed clutch, wouldn't it happen on every gear at around the same rpm?

Motormount... But the wheels would lose traction and they do not.

Sorta starting to piss me off since the car has relatively low miles....

Meh.... So I decided to go rotate my tires before I go into the dealer and now the problem is gone I can't even slightly replicate it... Maybe my tires were out of wack...

Glad it's gone though.

check your motor mounts for brownish spots around it (if they cracked and leaked).

hopefully it's not your clutch....had mine done as well as replacing the side mount.

Must be the wheel lug nuts not bolted up tight.

I get the same thing...I "think" its tire related. I mentioned it to dealership, they couldn't find anything wrong, and it was gone when I got the car back.

Its slowly creaped back after the last tire rotation. And I'm just about due for new tires (75,000km on the OEMs).
