I had an Integra before this with over 70,000 miles on the brake pads before I sold it. Maybe it's the way I drive. I almost always try to take the freeway, I've figured all the routes that I take regularly with the fewest stop signs possible, I time all lights to keep stopping at red lights minimal, and I usually roll my stops in 2nd. If I do stop, I usually cruise into it. I know I don't hit my brakes as much as other drivers because the car in front will hit his brakes and I just let off my accelerator to achieve enough slow down before the freeway speed picks up again. BTW, my gas light almost always comes on at 330 miles (300 with more city driving and 350 with mostly freeway driving), so I get about 400 miles per tank. I know for some it's unbelievable, because I've read about some getting 300 per tank.

Believe me if you want or believe that it's impossible, but I have no reason to lie about something like this.
I do believe you now, that's crazy though. You definetly got your money's worth out of those pads

160k on Original rotors, using NSX calipers, it can be done if you know how to drive.

Ask Rajca, he can vouche for my stock rotors.

Now that I think about the best way to save brakes, the one thing I do that I think helps the most is frequent lane changes on the freeway. If I see the car in front of me slow down or brake, I'll switch lanes to avoid braking. A little more aggressive driving and less defensive.

But I'm definitely worried about getting to the end of the life for them. I just dropped about $700 on EBC rotors, Hawk pads, Goodridge stainless steel lines, and Legend calipers.

As I was changing my oil yesterday, I noticed I need new tires since they seem to wear out every 2-3 years. Getting close for a new clutch soon and definitely need a new windshield too, since CHP pulled me over for it being cracked. I guess it's still better than buying a new truck, making payments and paying for crappy gas mileage.

Time for rear pads, and rotors, ebrake shoes, ball joints (too low) & exhaust hangers. Yet to need any unordinary repairs that don't involve maintenance.

edit: did have a ballast go out, and heated seat element burn out. Both are model specific common problems and were cheap fixes thanks to AZ!

don't do it, i'm rolling with 2 car seats in the back and driver side is comfortable and no issue (forward facing behind me), while the passenger seat is a little tight (rear facing seat on this side), but as long as the passenger isn't too tall, it should be fine. by the time they are both forward facing, it will be normal again but even now it is fine.

273,000 km's or 169,000 miles on my Cl-S6

The motor doesn't burn oil and the clutch seems fine but I'm wondering how much longer I'll get out of them.

Also how important is getting the valves adjusted on our motors? I've never had it done and want to get another year (approx. 30,000 km's) out of this car.

I'm at 225,8xx right now.

Starting to show its age, but I'm going to squeeze another year out of it before delegating it to back-up duty.
