1250hp Supra!

My favorite quote from the seller:
"Please do not e-mail me asking for 1/4 mile times as the car never made a full pass due to traction problems that have since been resolved"
Well, what did you expect with 1250hp!

1250 hp I love Supras but no thanks I don't want a trailer or dyno queen. My choice would be one with about 500 to 550 whp. That's more than enuff to take out any car on the street.

My friend has a twin turbo Linginfelter C5 Corvette with a 6 speed manual tranny. I always ask him about recent kills and he said he recently lost to a single turbo Viper only because the race started from 80 mph. He chose fourth gear and spun badly while the less powerful Viper was able to accelerate. He also fishtailed a bit so he let off. What really bothered him was that he could have won, and that the Viper guy thinks he beat a TT Linginfelter Corvette even up. So my buddy has just ordered slicks that can be used on the street to hopefully prevent the wheelspin next time. His WHP dyno by the way was 830 HP!!!!

That reminds me of that Top Secret R34 GTR (Best Motoring I think) that had so much power the guys running both stated it was "just too powerful" (paraphrase).
Power is on only as good as what you can effectively put to the pavement.

maybe he can drive it on the street with dot tires but i don't think he'll get to many races with that parachute on the back.
talk about intimidating.

Matt was right with what he said. You are wrong.
The reason why matt is right is even stated in the ebay auction. And stated by many other folks who have big single dawgs.

but WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING?
Just because YOU have had training DOES NOT MEAN YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT WITH SUPRAS.
sheesh... pull your head out of your ass.
So your a trained know it all. In other words your a young arrogant fool.
So what experience with Supras makes you the expert?

numerous other cars run consistent 9s - even with the stock 6 speed in the car still but auto's are king for drag racing.

Hey Titan,
Do you guys run auto now in the Sup or are you guys still using the 6-speed? I remember a while back that Titan held the record for the quickest street class, 6-speed Supra; did something like an 8.9 or something. Still impressive!!! So would Ryan Woon now hold the record for the quickest street driven 6-speed Supra???
