Av6 Swap

I’m sure this has been discussed plenty of times before now. Long story short I purchased a used transmission from a salvage yard that was no good from the beginning, went out in three day’s
they refused to give me my funds back so I have to take them to small claims court.

I had a BAYA transmission rebuilt and it works fine. Can someone point me to
some literature to were the Acura, CL and the Honda, BAYA transmission are compatible?

Thanks in advance.

Would anyone happen to have some more information were it’s compatible to the Honda, 5 speed automatic transmission?
I know it’s compatible because I have a BAYA in it now but would need as much information when I’m in the courtroom.

The 06-07 Honda Accord V6 automatic model has a J30A5 engine block. (part # 10002-RCA-305).
Honda J engine - Wikipedia
The 06-07 Honda Accord V6 BAYA automatic transmission (part# 20011-RAT-C64) bolts up the the J30A5 engine block from the factory.
Engine Assy. - Transmission Assy. (V6) for 2007 Honda Accord | Majestic Honda Automotive Parts
Your automatic Acura CL (assuming it is a Type-S since you do not specify a year or model ) has a J32A2 engine block (part# 10002-PGE-A03).
Engine Assy. - Transmission Assy. - 2003 Acura CL 2 Door SPORT KA 5AT (acurapartswarehouse.com)
The fact that the 06-07 Honda Accord BAYA automatic transmission BOLTS UP TO your Acura CL J32A2 engine block, along with the various 'swap' components indicated on the attached document from the factory Acura automatic transmission, allows the Honda BAYA to function with the electronics of your Acura CL.

The essence of the word 'compatible'?

If any one has anything to add or correct regarding the above logic stream, please contribute such; otherwise, I'm not getting Duck2010's semantic interpretation of the word 'compatible'.

Thank you for providing me with such information. I was in need of a breakdown of how the transmission would function within my Acura,
Again Thanks for the information.

Your 2001 CL-P base model would then have a J32A1 engine block, from the factory, as opposed to the J32A2 found in the Type-S model.

Accord to acura trans swap

I just finished swapping a av6 2006 honda accord 3.0l automatic non hybrid into my 2005 acura tl 3.2l and it's direct switch over you only need to keep your gear selector range switch from the acura transmission as the honda plug is different its only 4 bolts. Definitely the only way to go because 1. 2006-2007 accord trans is a lot more stronger than the 2005 acuras#2 the price is a lot cheaper . Very easy swap good luck
