03' CLS, accident need advice

I've got an 03' CLS, I had an accident and need advice. Car is in beautiful condition, 106,xxx on the clock. The insurance company is trying to give me 5k to total the car. If I buy it back from them they'll give me $3700 and I have to cover the repairs and get an R title on the car. I don't want to let it go to the junk yard, either I take the 5k, or take the $3700 and let someone on here pick it apart. Black on black, been babied since I bought it with 81k on the clock. Her in the prime

Still runs and drives. No frame damage at all, just a little bit of a bitter face

I'll tell you what it's a pain in the ass going through the rebuilt process you need receipts for all the parts you buy and if there is frame damaged you need the paperwork showing how bad it was and what was done to fix it . Probably in your best interest to take the 3700 and part the car out and maybe you will get more than the 5k they offer you but it takes time to sell parts not sure if you can wait until they all sell. Sorry for your accident

Auto or manual? There's enough junkyard CLs to grab parts from. I bet you could get it back to prime for much less than $3,700.

no frame damage at all, I hit an SUV so it hit high. Frame is still solid as a rock. It's just parts and labor that the insurance company based it on

Take the 3700 and the rebuilt title. Fix her up and enjoy her in good health.

From what I see is hood grill headlight bumper and bumper support as well as radiator support damage could be wire harness issues if there broken or ripped apart . Did you overheat or leak any antifreeze?

Don't know where you are, but I saw an '03 at Hanna's auto salvage in Allentown PA. Great parts car. Almost worth buying to restore. Manual trans, NBP color.
They have three SG CLs.
