I just clicked over 100k on my 03 CL. The car is beginning to miss alittle on accerlation and there are a few more squeaks and rattles that I would like looked at. I am thinking of doing the 105k service a little early. Can anybody give me a reason not to? I called around to a few local shops (Miami FL) and the best price I got was $1100 at Esserman Acura which includes new timing belt, water pump, accessory belts, oil and filter change, tire rotation, brake flush, a bunch of inspections and greasing everything. What do you think. Anybody in S. FLA no a better place? Thanks,

Go to the Honda Dealership, it'll be much cheaper. Its the same service for the 98-02 Accord.

I just did my timing belt, pump and tensioner. I'm wayyy under the milage they say to do it, but the car is 6 years old, and i had the $, so now i don't have to worry for a long time. You can get a better deal then that though. That's way too expensive.

Or if any of your friends have a mechanic they trust, you can buy the parts online and then the labor will probably cost a couple hundred at a neighborhood mechanic. Unless you really wanna give the dealership that $1100

I took my ack to a local ma and pa shop and it was 500 dollars cheaper than the dealer at the time.

I was quoted about $600 with parts at my dad's cousins shop. Just find a shop you trust. Many of them will let you bring your own parts too if you ask ahead of time. You can save yourself some money by picking them up on eBay (number of people sell the whole kit on there).
