Shit happens and last-minute-back-outs exist. I just want to get this thing going solid.
Does anyone object to me offering "Non-Acura" to this dyno group?

I think buddy (BadAss IS-F) /and his friends will be interested.

i have driven one before at the SEMA convention before, and to tell you the truth, it did not seem that fast to me (maybe cause they let me drive it, and it was on a closed course)(but i did make the safty guy that rode with me, perk up some when i started to accelerate in some s-turns they set up, to try and make people slow down ), but i think they are a little overweight, which soaks up alot of their power

who's Manuel

you mean manual, but anyways that is at the crank not the wheels, so 220 (at the wheels) sounds about right if we were at sea level, but we're not so i think most people will be under 200 (but will proably be over 200 when the SAE correction factor is taken into account)

I love his car. He did a custom exhaust, OZ wheels, etc. Looks clean and mean.

Wish I had 420+hp IS-F... some day... just need to focus on making more cheddar.

not saying that they are not a sweet car, they are, just that they don't seem all that fast for having 420+ hp, but it does have alot of potential there for some serious power with FI

No I agree, 400 hp mark sounds like it should be ridiculously and amazingly fast. But it's just amazing fast. Maybe because traction is a little difficult or the 3700 lbs curb weight.

Still, of the few times I've been inside while he zoomed around... I envied him.

also i don't like that 8-speed tranny ethier, just too many gears

i know some people will say more gears are better, but the last couple of gears just seem a little too closely spaced together, mainly to help maximise it's fuel economy [kinda like how are 4th and 5th gears are not seperated by that much]
also just imagine the repair costs when that tranny craps out, big time $$$

also curb weight is actually like 3780, so closer to 3800 pounds

also i think it could use a lower gear ratio (higher numically) in the back end too, that would help quite a bit too with getting it going (they say it can supposeadly [sp?] get over 200 mph (idk if that is mathamatically or if it would actually have enough power to get over 200)

i think something like a 3.5 rear end would proably make it quite good (stock is like 2.9)

Haa haa, look at our dyno thread?
Anyways, I agree the car isn't my dream car but it's still one mother fucking bad ass vehicle. As I'd hope it should be with a 58K starting MSRP.

Possible bad wheel speed sensor. I have that problem on the occassion. If you have a bad wheel speed sensor, it doesn't let you set cruise control. You can turn it on, but you won't be able set it. I would get your ABS/VSA scanned.
