I took over the TX brewers accounts at work so I figure I'd start running through them all like I did with the TX wines...... Real Ale brewing co Devils backbone

Greenflash West Coast, Bear Republic Racer 5 and Ballast Point Sculpin. The Sculpin is overrated, IMO. Been getting into the west coast IPAs a lot more this year. They definitely lack the malt balance, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Can't find any Pliny here in upstate NY.

not sure if Heady Topper is available in your area, but many folks here in northern california seek Heady Topper to taste against pliny.

Grapefruit Sculpin fresh frome the brite tank today! PTY is definitely overated in my book. But i am surrounded by world class west coast IPA's. Alpine being my numero uno

I've heard Heady's pretty solid, but can't find it around here.

Back to Sierra Nevada Torpedo tonight. Not quite the cream of the crop, but at $13.79 a 12 pack at my local Target, it's tough to beat.

Got some Grendel from Figueroa Mountain Brewing on tap over the weekend. It was great.

Not exactly beer, but it's aged in the bourbon barrels that they age Dragon's Milk in. I liked it so much, I already have another bottle being shipped to me. Shit is amazing

I'm not a fan of anything pumpkin flavored, but I picked up 2 cases of this, because it's amazing, and extremely hard to come by

Just turned 21 last month so I've been hitting up Total Wine

I have a Pumking beer sitting in the fridge, pretty highly rated, can't wait to try it.

Link: Southern Tier Pumking Ale

Tried this Jack-O-Travler at World of Beer the other night, loved it!

Link: Jack-O Traveler | The Traveler Beer Company

Ummm...I'm not a fan of any dark beers like stouts, I've found I like ales and the German's Hefe-Weizen beers.

This also became a new favorite, link: Spaten Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse

Spicy!

I tried Victory's Golden Monkey beer and it was crazy spicy to me, I hated it. Hope the Pumking isn't as bad.

There are huge stack outs of that Warlock every grocery store I go to. Shouldn't be too hard to find...

I prefer Weyerbacher's Imperial Pumpkin myself.

The Pumking was a little too spicy for me.

Not a fan sadly, I wanted to like it so much.

Still so pissed they discontinued Shiner Hefeweizen. Best. Hefeweizen. Ever.

They replaced it with a Belgian White Wheat too, and it tastes like every other Belgian White Wheat. I have never found another Hefeweizen that tastes like Shiner's.

Is that why they have white wing now? I like white wing but the shiner hefeweizen was awesome. Didn't you have to hold the bottle upside down before you drank it?

My wife loves it so you should too. Lol

Seriously though...it's a slightly fruity heavier hefeweizen. It's pretty damn good.

And I hope you guys aren't turning your beers upside down to mix up all that yeast at the bottom? Pour bottles into glasses and leave that junk in the bottom. Unless you like that yeasty 3AM gas.

Went to World of Beer last night.

Tried that Shipyard Pumpkinhead.

Pilsner Urquell

Ended up getting a Sam Adams Oktoberfest and that Jack-O-Traveler.

last night Southern Tier IPA, night before He-brew IPA. I liked the He-brew, had lots of floral notes, but Southern tier was still solid.

I'm a half hour from Ommegang. I need to stop by and pick up some Three Philosophers!

Anyone know when Founders releases their Breakfast Stout? I think it's between Halloween and Thanksgiving?

It's almost time for Sierra Nevada Celebration to drop also.
