Safeway had a sale on Cazadores Reposado. $23.99 for a 750ml. woot.

The only thing you can't buy in the regular supermarket in AZ is hard drugs.

When they have a "Weed and Blow" aisle, things may get ugly.

Not much has been added since I last posted - I think just a bottle of scotch and some High West bourbon. I don't have much time to enjoy my tequila so it just sits there.

Bulleit and Jack Daniel's 'Gentleman Jack'

Glad to see quite a few Scotch and Bourbon fans on here! I didn't scan through the entire thread, and I saw JLatimer had it, but has anyone else ever had Laphroaig? None of the stores around me carry it and I've been wanting to try it. Might have to get a bottle online if it's that good

I hope you like peat!

My current fav bourbon is Eagle Rare, although I am drinking a lot more Maker's Mark since Costco started carrying the 5 gallon bottle.

I always keep a bottle of Single Barrel and a bottle of regular Jack on hand. Those are my go-to's. Most people will drink the black label just for mixed drinks. I'll drink it straight, but I'll normally save the Single Barrel for myself and special guests who like good stuff.

My buddy got me into Scotch lately, and have a bottle of Aberlour (love this stuff) 12, 16, and A'Bunadh.

I also have a bottle of Highland Park 12 and a bottle of Glenfiddich 15 and 18.

Besides myself, the only others who drink it are my buddy and my father in law, so the scotch stays untouched by others

I just got some unpronouncable vodka from my friend who just came from Moldolva, so I'll see how that is. He said it's pretty good stuff.

Tasty stuff. Try finding it at a bar first to see whether you want to go in on a whole bottle.

I've never seen it at any of the bars I've been to. Only the usual (JW, Chivas, Glen, Dewarts, etc).

Espilon Blanco and Woodford Reserve....both are very smooth.

Espilon Blanco is pretty underrated in my opinion because it looks like the cheap stuff and since its blanco, it doesn't look like the typical tequila.

Find better bars. If they don't have any single malts, or only have Glenlivet (not that it's bad, it's not), find a better bar if you want to try it out. Nice hotel bars will have a good selection usually.

I had an awesome drink last night at a bar...

Called a Moscow Mule.

2 shots Smirnoff Vodka.
juice from 1/2 a fresh lime.
Ginger Beer (to taste). <---DO NOT ALLOW GINGER ALE.FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE....

Squeeze the lime into a tall glass filled with ice, and then add the Vodka; finally, add Ginger Beer to taste, remembering that this is meant to be a long drink.

A couple of the bottles were given to me by friends, only the Kettle One and three bottles of bourbon are of my own purchases.

Right now I've been drinking a lot of vodka, been drinking Smirnoff, and Stoli's as a change from Absolut. I prefer Belvedere, but have been tight on money lately. I plan to pick up a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue soon though

I've seen that at the state liquor store in NH, I'll have to give it a try. I need to finish off whats left of the Makers Mark in the cabinet to make room for a new bottle. Fiancee didnt like the last bottle of bourbon sitting on the counter all the time.....and more importantly, I didnt like her seeing how quickly it went down

Definitely give Bulleit a try, I was very pleasantly surprised, and I was able to pick it up for $17. Makers Mark will always be my go-to, but this is a great alternative.

Since I started drinking liquor Ive always preferred Crown Royal. I got this bottle of Makers from a friend, and Im really not a huge fan. The bottle I just finished was from a local distiller, and it was gooood

Makers 46 is delicious... However I don't think it's worth the extra money compared to the original. That said, has anyone tried this? I picked up a bottle today, heard nothing but positives.

A bottle of Singleton of Glen Ord (purchased at the distillery in Scotland last year)
A bottle of Minttu (a going away gift from my supervisor while in Finland)

Not much of a liquor drinker, but would like to get a good bottle of vodka.
