Well, since I am still in my parents house, I can say they have what seems like EVERYTHING.

Ok, probably not everything....but there is a hell of a lot. Two cabinets that are ~3ft by 3ft are full.

Once I start my own collection though I will definitely have

-1800
-Tuaca
-Stoli vodka
-Some form of rum...haven't tried enough to have a favorite yet
-Triple Sec
-Baileys
-Kahlua
-Frangelico
-Stoli Vanilla...it makes some interesting things....
-Jack Daniels
-Patron if I can justify paying for it

But more imporantly overall...

...a stock of Silver Oak wine.

I'm somewhat of a wine-o vs. hard liquor thanks to my parents.
I've learned good wines from bad ones....and great ones like silver oak.

At $100-125 a bottle though.

It may take me a while to stock up. Oh well. I plan on having a cellar wherever i go.

^^ there's really no point in freezing any of that besides the vodka.

from memory:

Vodka: Stoli Blueberry / Raspberry, Smirnoff Triple Distilled, Effen Black Cherry, Stoli Elit, Van Gogh Double Espresso

Whisky: Macallan 12, Macallan 18, Glenfiddich 18, Johnny Gold, Green, & Blue

Whiskey: Crown Royal Cask No. 16, Jack, Jack Single Barrel, Gentleman Jack

Bourbon: Old Grand Dad

Rum: Bacardi Gold, Bacardi Anejo, Bacardi Limon, Captain Morgan, Ron Zapaca

Tequila - Cuervo, 1800, and a really good mexican one I forget the name of

Miscelaneous: Grand Marnier 150, Grand Marnier, Navan, Triple Sec, Blue Curacao, Rangphur Gin, Sapphire Gin, Jager, Kahlua, etc.

I'm forgetting a ton, and I've got a lot of bottles of local liquor from foreign countries that no ones heard of.

About 20 bottles of wine, and about 4 cases of various beers.

I'm ready for the next AZ meet lol...

Well other than the fact that it wasn't frozen.... lol

Cold drinks are always good for one...

...and two, if there any adventurous people that like to try all kinds of layered shots/other drinks, it layers alot better and easier when its super cold

Lol, okay. But the only liquor that you really need to keep cold in the freezer would be vodka or jager (or similar). I was actually at a Johnny Walker tasting where they recommended to put your gold label in the freezer to try to make it taste better. Everyone was laughing at that one, it still tasted like ass.

I'm actually surprised that triple sec didn't freeze, the proof should be low enough on that.

You have much to learn young padawan. I probably thought the same way at your age too.

Yeah didn't know what he was thinking tossing some of the lower-proof ones into the freezer, we couldn't drink them for the majority of the night. Frozen or not, was still a good time.

Saw an ad for a liquor store around the corner from work. Seemed like really cheap prices, so I pulled the trigger on some handles.

Captain Morgan ($18.98)
Southern Comfort ($21.98)
Jim Beam ($23.98)
Jagermeister ($39.98)

Total $104.92 + $8.39 tax = $113.31

Should be set on liquor for a while

Not all of it is mine but its a "whats yours is mine and whats mine is ours" kind of deal so:

-About half a dozen bottles of mezcal from the town my dad is from in Mexico
-Grey Goose bottle I got my dad for his bday a couple of days ago
-Half full bottle of Jose Cuervo
-2 BIG Jäger bottles
-Hypnotiq bottle with a few shots worth
-I see Malibu
-3 small bottles of Patrón (costco)
-Jimador
-Jose Cuervo margarita mix
-Don Julio
-oh and I have about a case worth of Mikes Hard Lemonades in the mini fridge in the garage.

GOD I need to move.....here's some comparison shopping:

Captain Morgan ($51.45)
Southern Comfort ($35.95) 40oz (no handles)
Jim Beam ($35.95) 40oz (no handles)
Jagermeister ($43.65) 40oz (no handles)

Total $167 + 13% tax (21.71) = $188.71 and due to the lack of handles for these products this is in terms of volume 1 handle short. Based on the price of the handle of morgans the same haul here would cost $232.55

For me, the better question would be:

What kind of liquor is NOT in your cabinet?

That's right sports fans...I have 2 full wet bars in my basement, one is 20" long and the other is 24"(as well as a home theater, a second full kitchen, a guest bedroom, and a full bath with a 4X9 shower. Upstairs we have 5 more bedrooms.

I can't think of any liquor we lack. Now we may not have every brand (don't think that would be possible) but last time we tried to count we had over 1,200 bottles of booze, not counting the mixers.

WE ENJOY HOSTING PARTIES. What can I say? And oh yeah, we never have to wait for mom & dad to be going out of town.

There are much better wines than silver joke. Especially ones that are roughly the same price. I'm not knocking the wine too much, its good and I'll drink it, but people get so hung up with the label the often stop paying attention to what is inside.

Ok here's my recommendation: Żubrówka vodka

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zubrowka

I'm not a vodka drinker but this is a faily unique product. What you need to do is put it in the freezer before you serve, as cold as possible. The restaurant where I first had it serves it chilled at -30 C.

The other day I took out these shotglasses made of ice (you make them from these silicon forms), put a whole bunch on a tray, and people who normally aren't into shots were chugging one of these vodka shots after another. It really tastes great.

If you're a pussy you can also mix it with apple juice, but it's really not necessary even for the squeamish.

I don't like putting vodka in the freezer - I'd rather get it cold by shaking it in a shaker. Too thick otherwise.

I have a bottle of that stuff kicking around, it's pretty tasty. My brother got me into it after he had it in Poland while he was backpacking. Mixing it with Apple Juice is supposedly a polish national drink or some such thing.
