i love the looks of this car. its low, nice aero kit, the taillights are by far my fav. lights designed over ANY other tails. i want this car soo damn bad.

BUT, performance wise sucks, price is TERRIBLE, and interior isnt so great.

this thing is in the mid 40k range.

any info on upgraded turbo kits? hooked up pics? anything at all...

Anyway, SAAB went to shit after the whole GM purchase thing. You can get a much nicer, more reliable car for the money. Looks cool though.

 

If you are going to spend in the mid $40k range then bite the bullet and cough up $45k for a new s4.

 

Looks nice, but for that $ I'd go for an A4 vert, which looks sexy as well.

 

A4 vert, seems like an even worse deal. u cud go with a TT convertible for the same $

S4 vert is 55k. I think the 9-3 vert is Sweet.

 

Friend has a nice bit of change and little knowledge about cars. His wife wanted a beatle convertible but they couldn't get the color they wanted. Instead he buys her the 9-3 convertible. They let me drive it and it was damn nice. They had a wood kit put in to the interior and it looked pretty good inside. For the price though there so many other cars they could have bought. I'd get the 9-3 if it was 27K but 45 is re-damn-diculous!

 

the new s4 has serious problems. just do a search on any audi forum. people are having engines/trannies replaced.

 

I would not buy a saab for that price!

That thing will tank like a mofo and be worth 30k max in a yr i bet!

 

go take a test drive of the 9-3 convo. its sooo comfy, only thing thats sketchy is their reliability

this car is beautiful...my parents just recently sold their durango and were very interested in saabs...we looked at both the 9-5 and 9-3 but they had decided if they were to get a saab it would have to be the vert.....turns out it not worth the money so we ended up gettin a deville (pics should be up shortly)

 

i liked the old 9-3 vert more...those taillights are just too goofy for my taste, but the front is hot.
