Travelers - What city are you in today?

For those of us that travel for work a lot, or the ones that just have way too much money and take vacations.....what City are you traveling to today?

I'm in Chicago....Again. 4th trip here in 5 months.

We're having some of our best weather in a while -- your timing is good!

I used to travel for work a lot more than I do now. I'm down to about 4 trips a year, typically to the Bay Area or Dallas.

I don't travel a whole lot, but I'll be in South Jersey on Thursday and Chicago next week. Last year, it snowed for both of these trips. Hopefully this year it will not.

most of my work trips are day trips, If I do stay somewhere overnight it's because I've combined many visits into one, usually do half on the way to the most distant account, then another half on the way back the next day.

Hopefully you have a good mileage program with work or a company car. Those day trips really rack up the miles.

company van. all expenses paid. this month should be pretty heavy on the miles as I have to meet all my accounts and get commitments from them, before we go ahead and import product for them. Plus a business review and try to hear what other players in the industry are doing.

edit: and somehow between now and xmas I need to work in a week of vacation, gotta use it up before year end. I wish I could bank it though or take a payout for the time not used.

looks like we are in the same situation, I originally had 6, but managed to add another one for working at a trade show that was on a Saturday. 7 days and no where to go lol. Plus apparently we are closing down from xmas through to the new year so that's an added freebie. Maybe I'll just take it before xmas shut down and get 2 weeks straight. I wouldn;t mind going out west but travel gets pretty pricey around the holidays.

I work on the road every day, covering all of New England at times.

I generally go on business trips a couple times a year, and usually just to our service center in NJ where my boss is out of.

Though I will be in Temple Tx. next week for training

Then later next week I fly out to Paris for work...

I drove to Irvine, CA and back today; I'll be driving to Cerritos on Thursday, and Rancho Cucamonga on Friday.

Hey, it's not glamorous, but it's better than waiting at airports, taking shoes off, etc.
