Good episode...some interesting storylines developing. But, the Water Well thing made no sense

"Zombie's in there swimming and bleeding, better go down there before it contaminates the water"

WTF?

^What doesn't make sense about that? No water no life, right?

I haven't seen the episode yet but I'm going to say that isn't very 'Romero'ish. The disease shouldn't get spread that way. Maybe they are literally saying they want clean water, not that they are afraid to get turned via the water??

And this is the way the series is in the novels. Ups and downs. So don't worry, it'll get crazy here soon.

Dude wasnt about to chicken out in front of her! Not bad for a pizza delivery boy. Although, if Rick had been there, he probably would have told them they were all retarded to begin with and dropped a couple boulders on that thing. I mean seriously, you really gonna drink out of that well even AFTER removing that thing?

Absolutely not.

Anyway, something about that barn seems fishy, they didn't focus much on it, but I don't recall seeing it.

Maybe thats where they keep the live bait (like the little girl) to attract the zombies so they can live without too much zombie trouble.

Not quite as pronounced as the character on the show. Ever since she had dyed her hair brown from blonde, she's a dead ringer.

Here's an old pic.

As soon as the freaky music hit when Maggie saw Glen's note, I knew he was going to discover something bad... and then I remembered somebody here a while back stating something was suspicious about the barn. Bravo to you sir!

Something about Hershel I didn't trust. In a world where the living are far outnumbered by the dead he seemed less than thrilled to have them around. It was all odd.

Looks like the walkers break out next episode

Maybe they're family members that turned into zombies and are being kept in hopes there's a cure?

Enjoyable episode...Shane's difference in philosophy and survival versus Rick's comes to light as the two best friends argue it out.

Honestly, both viewpoints have high merit. What would you do?

And I enjoyed the Daryl-centric episode as well.

Shane's argument seems more realistic. However, Rick's philosophy appeals more to me. At some point I would call the search, but we'd keep looking atleast until Rick's son is able to be moved.

Kinda like well if we compromise our morals, what are we even fighting for then?

Daryl is like the wild card. You've got the evil side of him influenced by his brother Merle, and the good side of him influenced by Carol (girls mother). Hard to tell which is going to win out. I love how they use this post apocalypse world to bring out all the different sides of humanity sort of like lord of the flies. It's even interesting to see the conservative/liberal character traits reflected in behavior. i.e. the "democrats" as Merle actually referred to the group who act in the best interest of everybody in the community (almost to a flaw as trying to find the little girl could bring others down) and then you got the conservative Merle, Shane types who act in their own best interest first and foremost. In a post apocalypse world, do all the old structures still apply?

Well, Daryl's current situation certainly gives Shane more ammo against Rick's need to continue searching.

Again, it is a very tough question. I know Rick is just burdened with the guilt that it may have been his fault for losing the girl...It will be interesting.

When Merle showed up, I was thinking, "OMG...they just pulled a f*cking LOST on me!??!?"

Thank god the writers were smart enough to make it just Daryl's imagination...whew.
