I enjoyed the first episode. I expect it to build as S1 did.

I heard something major happened. Please don't spoil it yet. I'm going to watch tonight

I did see the season premiere and I really liked it. I rewatched season 1 over the weekend with my gf because she couldn't get past the season 1 premiere. Just like how I remember, really slow until the end where Matt's like "Ask the right fuckin questions then" I did feel that the season 2 premiere had more action and it looks like we are developing more characters this time around.

They could have ended it on the first shot and let our minds think hes alive but hurt, but after the second one my mind went on a fucking rollercoaster. Dead/alive, could they really knock off a main character after 2 episodes. Was it Vince Vaughn? Just like holy schnikes

So I'm rewatching this right now....... Doom, get out of here until you watch it

But in the opening scene, is that a leak Vince Vaughns character is looking up at? Has the same pattern as old dudes face who had his eyes melted out

Vince thought it was a leak or he has psychic powers. That story was pretty fucked up about the basement.

Did Vince set up Colin? I didn't take it as that but then again I was starting to doze as I watched before bed.

The basement story makes me think he is capable of a lot, since that was so F'd up he'd do something worse to his enemies.

I think Vince set him up, but who knows with this show

He seemed to be buddy buddy with the mayor too, and Vince wants to start tearing down walls until he gets his money back. Removing him from the investigation could help some of those walls come down and help him get his money back from whoever offed Casper.

I don't think it was Vince. Who did Vince talk to to find out about the house? It's either them or someone around them.

Speaking of Mayor he might have offed him since the mayor threatened to take away his business and already upped the debt. I know he had that one dude fucked up in the accident but taking out the mayor's muscle may have been a business move even though he seemed to like and have a long relationship with him.

Yeah, so far this season has just been "meh" to me. I'll hang with it as I know last season started slow, but I was much more invested in last seasons characters and plot. The serial killer aspect was just more interesting to me than a shady real estate deal gone bad. Colin Farrell has been great to watch though.

It sounds like it's more than a deal gone bad. You can see the concern in the mayor's voice when he talks about the camera and hard drive missing. Obvi the Vinci mayor is dirty and his household is pretty crazy including his kid.

This one is def more complicated with all these characters. You got brokeback army vet who's in CHIPS, psycho insomniac gangster, dirty drunk cop, and one track mind lady detective with relationship issues. I have to forget season 1 because there are zero similarities.

Ep 1 was a slow start, but season 2 is getting more interesting. Can't compare to season 1 though... the characters and storyline were more interesting.

Rotten Tomatoes has season 1 at 85% and 2 at 65%. Even the audience score is higher with season 1 at 97% and 2 at 84%. Seems about right to me, so far.

Alot of side stories but I'm liking Season 2. The intertwining of the stories is also pretty good. Vince can play a convincing bad guy too.

My mind has sort of type casted Vince as a goof ball comedian. I wasn't sure how he'd do in a serious role as a bad guy... can't really remember any serious role he's played. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised to see that he can pull it off.

Me and my gf were telling each other not to be strident. And I loved the line when he took out the dude's teeth about how to welcome the world.

With your free HBO you get HBO Go as well so you can catch up. Netflix doesn't carry it. Amazon Instant has a deal with HBO but I think they don't have season 5 which just finished.

I cant tell if I'm not as interested in this season because the story isn't quite as good or if it's my dislike of Vince Vaughn. I know Rachel McAdams keeps me watching for now. I don't know if the first season was exceptionally good story, or just the fact that both Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey were so great in it. Alright alright alright...

Got caught up on the first 3 episodes, haven't seen last night's yet. Not blown away by this season yet, Vaughn really hasn't done anything for me, except make me drink Blue Label while watching the first episode.
