I'll be considerate of those who still haven't watched it. Spoiler in white

I totally did not expect any of them to die. When the preggo girl got stabbed that got me off my seat. My reaction was, "Oh daym WTF that's fucked up.....Now Rob has no choice but to marry HOLY FUCKEN SHIT WTF!?!?

Things are getting chaotic......just how we like Game of Thrones

The question is how they translate that on to TV. I was expecting that. I figured it was close when she revealed she was preggo.

Man....I never read the books so I was completely shocked. Still am. I'm really hoping that the finale is as exciting.

^ it will. I have my suspicions in white for those who don't want spoilers:

I think the Hound, Joffrey, even Tywin are going to die in the finale. Dondarrion will give his life to Catelyn, so he'll die too.

Response in white

I personally don't think the Hound, Joffrey, or Tywin are dying in this season's finale, but I do agree that Catelyn will be revived by Beric.

Have you read A Feast For Crows?

Spoilers in white:

I missed this my first time through AFFC (my brother pointed it out), but the Hound is still alive. When Brienne first arrives to the place where the traveling septon lives they see a large brother digging a grave who is moving like they are recovering from wounds. Sandor also has a fondness for dogs because of his family's history and the grave-digging brother takes a moment from his work to pet the septon's dog as they go by. They also have the Hound's horse there, too.

We never see the Hound die, we only know Arya leaves him for dead.

My brother and I believe that the Hound will serve as the champion for the Faith against Ser Robert Strong (aka Undead Gregor Clegane) during Cersei's trial by battle.

Also (spoilers obviously):

My thoughts:

That's not the Hound; his stuff went downstream after he died in that rainy/floody area. That's why there were reports of the Hound's sighting after he died, because someone else found his helmet and was wearing it. The Champion for Cersei is most likely some Frankenstein that Qyburn (the maester who got his chain revoked) was working on in his "studies" in the dungeons

He might have noticed. But people were trying to kill him so I'm sure he didn't have time for that.

With the exception of Aria's scene, I thought it was dull too. Much less than it could have been. They had so many options to leave us hanging and they didn't use any.

yeah not exactly the type of episode you would expect for a season finale but i get the fact that we're still only halfway through this novel. still though...

Yea quite dull. As some of my other friends said, last week's episode was more like a cliffhanger finale. However, they hinted towards next season being the beginning of the war with the white walkers. Some other good stuff too like Doom said with the king being sent to bed without his supper, Arya killing, dragon glass, etc. Going to have to buy the books now though

I have no problem with the finale. But I'm not one who expects a two hour blockbuster movie in every episode of a TV series.

The episode wasn't bad per se, but there were definitely much better story lines for the ending scene/cliffhanger. Daenarys crowd-surfing was not one of those scenes. I'm glad at least they finally revealed Theon's torturer's real identity. Can we get out of the torture chamber now...it's only been like 5 episodes ongoing to get to that point.

The finale tied up a few loose ends which was great but a bit dull overall, especially compared to last week's episode. It was still a great season and I can't wait for the next

Agree. I've read enough spoilers to know they had several good choices and they didn't use any of them. It's not that it was a bad episode, it just had better potential.

Btw, I love the scene in the beginning where they're all sitting at the table and Joffrey announcing the death of Robb. Then it went on to where Joffrey yelled that "his" father won the real war, and then everyone looks at each other and you can instantly tell that in their mind, they're saying, "No bitch your dad is Jaime."

They did it with Jaime as well.....They really didn't need to drag out him getting back to KL that long.

In a way, his real father did win the real war by killing Aegon.

RIGHT! I loved that he really didn't know what he was saying yet it was true about his real father.

Am I the only one who finds the whole story section about the blonde bitch and her dragons completely worthless and stupid? The show would be so much better without it and all the fake magic crap.

Was anyone else thinking why the mom slapped balton in the last episode instead of stabbing him in the neck with the knife right in front of her. Then when she had the knife she could of went after lord Frey, but chose to grab his wife instead, that everyone knew he didn't care about.

You do realize there has been magic in all other parts of the world? The dude that can't be killed, Melisandra, the Walking Dead. With all the talk of dragon glass its pretty obvious the fire dragons and the ice zombies have some sort of symbolism.

That was a great scene. I thought it was interesting how the whole Lanister family undermined Joffrey without directly saying it. If Joffrey had any intelligence, he would have walked out of that room realizing he was in charge of nothing.
