this conversation was great

Tyrion: You should taste her fish pie.

Shae: I don't think Lord Vary's likes fish pie.

Varys: How can you tell?

Shae: I can always tell.

Tyrion: Men like Lord Vary's and I can't let our disadvantages get the best of us. We'll make a fisherman of him yet.

Yeah it was one of the Kingsguard in the gold uniform. Probably an order came down from Cersei if it seems they would win since there would be so much ruckus. Speaking of ruckus what's up with Hound. Baddest dude bailed. I wish Sansa would've left with him. Then again Winterfell is not the best place to go to now.

Too much fire, he has a fear of fire from what i've read (flaming arrows, wildfire, burning dudes attacking him . . .)

ahh that makes sense that he has an issue with fire and bailed, seeing as how half his face is melted i could understand that.

i liked when he told the guy if he gets hit with an arrow he'll choke the dude with his own organs.

Yea - a kingsguard. It's actually one of those great things that is unanswered in the books with speculation until much later on in the story.

But there definitely was an order of some sort given.

That and 1/2 is face was burned. His brother (the mountain) pushed his head in fire coals when he was a boy and burned his face. Seems he still remembers that.

They certainly did a great job with the ending. But to now wait a 10 months for next season, .

I am loving the story line of Calisi. Makes me want to read the books before next season, but I'll wait.

Yea - was sad they changed the actor - made it tough to realize it was the Mountain.

You mean The Khaleesi? Daenerys Targaryen? Yea - she's in general quite the bad ass.

I just finished book 1 and it was amazing. About 50 pages into book 2. I hope to finish book 2 then rewatch season 2, THEN read book 3 before next year when the season starts.

I've heard that book 3 will be split into season 3 and season 4 because it's so large.

Is it me or did they up the bass on the Mountain's voice? Dude sounded like a monster and was twice as big as Hagrid from Harry Potter.

What a great show. Season 2 was definitely more exciting and enjoyable than the first. Tyrion and Joffrey are the two characters that kept me tuned in week after week. Having never read the book, I went into the second season expecting the big battle between the North and Kingsguard since the tagline was "The North Remembers", yet after a season filled with excitement and great stories, I felt a bit duped. Seriously, WTF is taking Robb so long to get to the South? Keep in mind, he first started this movement towards Kingsguard with the hope of rescuing his father & two sisters. And, an entire season later he is still "in-transit", finds time to fall into love and gets married WTFFFFF (Get your priority straight Robb!)

I love the show overall, but one gripe I have is the constant "openings" new subplots without a sense of closures in every single episode + now, we have to wait 10 more months for another season. Off the top of my head, here are the things I am looking forward to find out in Season 3:

1. Is Stark finally going to reach Kingsguard for the epic battle we have all been waiting for?

2. Khalessi and her dragons

3. What is Tyrion going to gain power, so he can fend himself against Joffrey, Cersi and his father?

4. The White Walkers and John Snow's storyline.

5. More actions from the wolves!

6. Lastly, the younger Stark daughter (Not sure of her name) + her fate with the mysterious assassin. How she is going to use the coin?

Oh yeah, as much as I hate Joffrey's character, Sansa had it coming. It was the dumb twat's fault for not leaving Kingsguard when she had the chance. Sansa & her mother are the two characters who annoy me the most in Season 2.

^ Sometime I wonder if she is staying in Kingsguard b/c she had no other choice; hence, she is a prisoner. Or, she is staying there in hope of actually gaining Joffrey's affection and possibly claim to power. I thought it was the former until I learned that she stayed in Kingsguard even after given the choice to leave.

Not to be a GoT Nazi but Kingsguard are the members of the force for the king. I think you mean to say Kings Landing to describe the location.

I think Robb's army got delayed with the taking of Winterfell by Theon's group but they have mentioned him winning all the battles like in the scenes where Tywin Lannister is addressing the other generals and Arya served him. I think other delays were when they returned Ned's head, the negotation with the Lannister cousin, and the issues with Jamie Lannister.

I can't wait for Khaleesi to cross the sea with her dragons. I wonder if she'll hold the crown as I think the dragons and their fire are the only things that can kill the Walking Dead. Maybe more wildfire? Maybe the wolves know whats up?

Next season will probably be the renaissance of Tyrion as he's now powerless even though Varys pointed out that he was a big reason they saved Kings Landing.

And speaking of Varys what's his plan for Littlefinger. We know there's beef and now that Baelish is more powerful as he gained Harrenhal, what will his role be in all of this. I guess Baelish wants to cover both bases by saving Sansa in case the north wins which he believes will happen since Robb is kicking ass.

And where are the two badasses The Hound and Bronn! Bronn was "relieved" but is he dead?

Great point about the Dragons and the White Walkers...never thought of that myself. I also wonder if the wolves will play a pivotal role in the grand scheme of things; I hope they do because they are simply a pack of badasses.

In terms Varys & Baelish, I must admit that, during season 1, I didn't care much for the two characters; I thought they were 2 typical calculating & cunning dudes you'd find in any fantasy novel/storyline that will get what's coming to them once the King falls. After Season 2, I certainly have a new found respect for these two enduring knuckleheads, and I wonder how Varys is going to use that hooker to plot against Baelish. I am rooting for Master of the Whisperers.

Again, as excited as I am for the multiple storylines above, I wonder if the show or HBO is going to have the chance to close all of them up at the end of S3 (Just the ones we've mentioned) given that the source materials isn't even finished yet.

By the way, you seem to very well-versed with the GOT lore, have you read the books? I couldn't help myself the other day and went on A Song of Ice & Fire Wiki to read ahead on what is going to happen to Tyrion in Season 3. I wonder how faithful the show will stay to the books as they have already deviated from the novels in Season 2.

If you have read the books, just on the things we have discussed thus far, will we reach to some sort of resolution at the end of the Season 3?
