Im so PISSED about what happened to Ned Stark, and what he said. I reallt can't believe he stated that Joffry was the true air to the throne, and not some super spoiled inbred punk bitch. Then I was mad, but not surprised when Joffry had him exicuted

Well he didn't want his kids getting killed. They surely would've killed Sansa, his older daughter, as Varys pointed out (bald dude sans nuts). I'm pretty sure everyone thought he was getting out of that. I know I did. They kill of folks like crazy on this show.

Just watched the newest episode last night. I'm so pissed Stark is dead

I've never read the books so I'm enjoying the show and lost at the same time

If you're confused about some stuff just ask and I will try to answer (in a non-spoiler way of course). I've read all the books and I even put in for a week of vacation when the next book comes out on July 12 LOL.

Damn you're dedicated

I understand the storyline but I have a hard time remembering the names of everyone. There are so many

I just started the 3rd book. I blew through the first two books in about a week and a half. I found myself reading 200 pages a day sometimes. But yes I hate joffrey with all my soul.

Crazy finale. Gotta wait till next spring. Knowing HBO that's like May. Man that writer just loves killing characters.

great first season. going to pick up the first novel and read it now. i'm torn between going beyond that though because i sort of like not knowing what is coming next with the TV series.

its amazing how many great characters were killed off in this first season.

I watched the first episode live, then started to DVR the rest, couldn't keep up with it. SO they are finally on HBO On Demand. I watched the rest in less than two days. Would have been sooner, but family had me doing other things.

Man, what a great season !!! But I was watching it thinking the next season would start in Jan, which I found out that it's April. :sucks:

Can't wait to see which way this goes, but I already know some, though I haven't read the books, which I'm thinking about doing so.

I'm almost done with the first book right now. Been reading about 3-4 chapters a day except Tuesdays when I read about 10. Wondering if I should do book 2 before or after the show. Probably going to read it before so I can compare them.

Agreed. I'm glad it's coming back but that's a really short season.

It's ten episodes on HBO, no 20 minutes of commercials.

I'd rather have 10 great/good episodes than 20 "why did I watch this tonight".

Also, look at the scope of this show. It expensive to shoot. I imagine that plays a big part in how big they want to make a season. Squeeze a book into 10 episodes or stretch a book into 20.

I've read them all and can't wait for the next one. It's a great show. I don't know if it tops Dexter though...

Less than a week til the premier. Almost done with the last book too, just have a few pages of the epilogue left. Changed my mind, can't wait for the show to end to marathon it since Walking Dead is over now.

I liked the first episode. There's gonna be a lot of side stories following all the characters in different areas I hope they keep up with all of them.

I'm gonna wait till season 2 is over so I can watch it non stop. I can't stand it when an episode ends "abruptly" and I have to wait for the next episode. I watched season 1 non stop and it felt great to watch it back to back.

So with that being said, thread subscribed, thread unsubscribed

I watched season one nonstop, but there's no way in hell I'm waiting six months for that.
