This smells like a repost 'cuz I know I've listened to that story before.

But still a great story.

I think this is Brian Shul talking if I'm not mistaken. I read his book "Sled Driver" where this story comes from. It's a great read. It's a collectors book now so it's pain to get and you'll pay for the privilege, but it's a good read.

Yeah no kidding. This story is hugely popular on reddit every so often.

The book apparently is out of print and is like $100+ on amazon now apparently....

Last time I shopped they were $200-300+ on eBay. I bought one for my Dad as a Christmas present last year - I think it set me back $225 for "good" condition. The signed ones or collector editions go north of $500. At least that's what they ask. Not sure if they get that.

It's not that good a read for that price, more of a book you just want to own because you're a fan.

As a kid, I was at the Toronto Air Show spoken of by the pilot in the "Buzzing the Tower" video. I will never forget that plane as long as I live. One minute the pilot was stating "we are over Cleveland" then the next they were in Toronto. Incredible.
