Something about the tongue gets me every time.

Of course, YOUR tongue could devour my entire neighborhood, but still.

So I am sure saying this someone or several of you will make jokes. However, I have this strange rash on my hands. This is now the 4th year in a row I have gotten it and it is always during the month of may. I have no idea what it may be and the only thing that makes it go away is getting a steroid pack from the doctor. It causes my hands to swell up, red spots all over, and causes my hands to really dry out so much it turns to pain. I have now started getting it on my feet as well this time around.

CCC have you gotten allergy tested? Sounds like the Spring/Summer transition is getting to you.

Thats what the Drs said to my mother in law, then they claimed it was a form of psoriasis, then drs took more blood work and said she had lupus and that was causing the rash. Things eventually got even worse. 2 years later and many drs and specialists later it turns out its Lymes. Its been a long uphill battle but she is starting to feel better. Lymes takes many forms and is usually misdiagnosed for other things, and you dont have to have a bullseye rash where you were bit to know you have it.

Yeah they did one back when I first got it but after being pricked for all the standards and then one then the test for lest standard allargies they all came back negative. I forget the name of what the doctor thought it was but she said she didn't think it was an allargie but something people just get sometimes and that it will go away on its own after 2-4 weeks but that an allergy pack could make it go away in a few days if it was painful. Since the drying out of my hands got so bad it hurt to even close them I always go and get an allergy pack now when it comes back. Going in tomorrow to get one. i will be sure to get the name of it and report back.

Ouch, damn! Definitely get an allergy test while you actually have them. So odd it appears only in May as I thought most allergens (except for grass) were on the decline by now. Crazy...

i feel ya on little cha... it's tough when you see other kids of similar age running around and yapping up a storm... i learned really quickly that all kids develop at different rates but i also noticed that girls tend to hit the milestones earlier than boys... my best friend's son is almost 3 and now just starting to talk more after having state assisted therapy... doctors sometimes make you more paranoid when they ask about all these developmental stages and are quick to ram specialists down your throat...

that also happened to my mom Yummy... it turned out to be a false-positive...

Agreed - I love the Baths and would love to re-visit. Part of the reason BVI is high on the list.

We did! And Willy T's and Foxy's. We tried to hit as much as we could. Didn't make it to Anegada, though, so I'd really like to do that this time.
