I tried to go have my monthly labs drawn, but I left my wallet at home. The woman who works there who knows that my insurance always covers it had a baby (jerk), so I had to pay the price for my irresponsibility and leave un-stuck. They are now closed. Dammit.

I have achieved nothing today. Unless you count reading about BVI resorts in forums an achievement. Then I've done lots.

It's been awhile!

Things are going alright...! Just trying to enjoy life with the wife and kid. We're in the midst of building a new place and so, will have the whole process of selling the current place and moving to deal with in the coming months.

Where life is more serious is stuff like working on Little Cha's walking and speech. He's still not walking well and needs support...working with some therapists for that. They also believe his speech is tied to his gross-motor skills...so, once he can walk/run on his own, the talking will come.

I guess the lesson for me here is that kids grow at their own pace. Little Cha will get there when he gets there...Still, you can't help but worry.

My Mom had a routine check last week that requires her to get an ultrasound because well, they saw something in the mammogram...Doing a read-up on most websites, the information is that if it is super-bad, they would've pushed her to a hospital immediately, more often than not, a need to do an ultrasound is a false-positive (yay! 90%)...Still, can't help but go into some hyperventilation a bit.

Life! How are things?

Exciting about the house! And stressful, I know. Good luck with it!

I'm so sorry for your worries about Little Cha. I've found that stress/worry over W has vastly trumped all other sources. Vastly. I hope he continues to progress and catch up.

And your mom! Your plate is full. If it helps to ease your mind at all, I had to go from mammogram to u/s a couple of years ago, and was cleared. I hope she has the same experience.

woulds been cheaper for a gallon of round-up. You wouldnt have had to worry about the lawn all summer and you could have gotten stuff to mod the car
