It really makes getting detached so much easier though.
This! I feel silly carrying two phones most of the time, but it really helps to separate myself from work when vacations come up.

Today is my first day back to work since Dec 19th, but I decided to work from home in an effort to get caught up peacefully.

I leave my work phone in the other room when I'm home or on my desk when I'm with work, I hate carrying 2 phones but I love having the separation between my work phone and my personal phone.

Why can't I find an outdoor extension cord that has an on/off switch on it?

I have some lights under an outdoor umbrella and want want to be able to turn them on/off without having to unplug them each time...

I saw that, but the thought of paying $38 for a switch seems crazy...

It's still overkill, but this seemed more reasonable:
Amazon Amazon

If you saw it, why did you say you couldn't find one? And it's $38 for a switch integrated with an extension cord.

I agree generally a separate switch / timer is the more economical way to go.

We’re leaving tomorrow, so I’m thinking of driving to the tail of the dragon while I’m up this far. We’re in the wife’s SQ5 so it should be a fun drive.

One week off and the usual mountain of emails. People say I look so rested. Mind you I busted my hump physically with house repairs, maintenance, and cleaning lumped in with traveling. Amazing how work fries you when you're just sitting in an office all day.

Mostly back to normal. Traffic back to the usual Houston-norm.

Got most of the Christmas lights off the house, yard still a bit soft for a 28' ext ladder in places.

I was thinking the exact same thing... I prefer to be doing the house projects any day. The sitting in a chair at a desk is probably killing me.

I am that weird guy that leaves his Christmas lights up till the 2nd weekend in January always. Trying to figure out before I pull them down too how I am going to organize and pack all the new lights from this year since I expanded so much. My ground will soon be soft as well since we are supposed to get rain Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, Sunday was my planned Christmas light removal day.

Def fucks up your back too. So many people have switched to standing desks. No thanks for me but I sit very low in like a squatting position while leaning back. Seems to save my back but the gym also helps by strengthening it.

I got the lights down that I could get to on pavement, wasn't in the mood to wrangle the ladder in grass/flower beds, and ran out of daylight.
Hoping to have time to get the C washed this weekend & finish getting the lights down.
