I can. It still wouldn't make the cabinet any more usable. It's better with it gone. We can actually use the space on top of the fridge.

It's just business. And if you don't get the service you're paying them for (ultimately), move on.
Good luck!
Thanks, we have what seems to be more of a fighter of a realtor on the ropes. Cutting ties & moving on from the first. Agreed, it's business, super nice couple, but nothing is happening when the market here is hot right now.

Talk to the head of that realtor's office and see if they can offer help.
As above, decided to move on. We have a few on our short list & want to get the ball rolling.

It took 4 days for your realtor to respond to you that there's been no response? Or 4 days no response from the seller? Offers are dated, how long did your offer last for?

So Enzo has been hoping around on only one rear leg now for a solid 48hrs straight with putting no weight on it. So I am gearing the worst that it is ACL or MCL as I can move he knee joint much more on that leg when he is laying down than I can on the good leg. I will find out on Monday.

My air conditioner stopped cooling last night as well so when it rains it pours I guess.

He doesn't seem to care about it. Doesn't complain about it when you touch or move it at all. If I wait till Monday day I can get him seen and all the scans/x-rays for free.

Morning folks. Hope you all had a good weekend.
Our youngest took a tumble off the couch yesterday & landed just wrong. Buckle fracture on her left arm Our oldest did the same at about the same age over the top of a yoga ball.

Morning everyone. I have a question. How do people up North keep their cars from rusting? I have a friend who made the drive from Florida to Alaska and thought about how would she keep the car from rusting out. She's moving up there for a job opportunity. Obviously here it's not a problem nor is renewing your registration. We do ours online and the stickers arrive in the mail. Same with changing your address on your license. I'm sure she'll end up trading in her florida tag.

Thanks, she's just in a firm wrist brace for a couple weeks. Really faint fracture, Dr at the urgent care missed it & the radiology tech caught it.

You can't really keep them from rusting completely. You can though do a good bit to maintain them. A lot of modern cars handle it fairly well lately but still the salt gets to them. The best suggestion I have is to visit those auto touchless carwarshes that have the undercariage washes as you drive in. The more frequently you can get the salt off the metal parts the better. You can get the cheapest option I think and still get the under carriage wash for about $5. Obviously if you do it once a week it is excellent but at least 1-2 times a month for sure goes a long way in helping.

When I travel home to visit family in the winter even if only for a week when I get back I go through one of those with my car and then I actually drive it up on ramps and power wash the underside myself.

^^^this...

during the winter, i usually get my cars washed every two weeks after anytime there has been salt on the ground... then one last time after all the spring showers wash down the roads and they are black again..

Never gave it much thought. My TL is on winter 9 and hardly any rust under it. None on the body.

Question - who the fuck still tries to get full size shampoo bottles through a TSA checkpoint? Even if you never fly....have you not had a conversation with someone that flies?

Do people really have to worry about rusting anymore? Thought that they are coated by makers now. To avoid the bullshit in the 70' and 80's.

First thing I would do when I got there, change everything to Alaska, being a resident comes with nice benefits in oil dividends.

I know plenty of people who move up North for jobs/military and the same question pops up about saving your car from road salt. Here the sun will eventually cause your paint to fade etc after a few years.

I can't convince my dad to get a smartphone. Just ordered him a brand new version of the newer model of the rugged flip phone he has been using for the last 5-7years. This phone is still 4-5years old lol but he is so tough on phones I always suggest the ruggedized phones that say they are milatary grade. He probably drops the thing a few times a day. $80 shipped for a new flip phone

Most new cars the body of the car itself is coated. However, not all the other components like the exhaust parts, suspension, and brakes components are. A frequent winter undercarriage wash does wonders in my experience.

It has been confirmed by our vet today that Enzo has a torn ACL. Now to get an appointment scheduled with the specialist they suggest to see how bad it is. Also was informed the surgery starts at $2400 and only increases depending on how bad it is.

You may want to search for help. A neighbor had to have this done for his pooch. Was able to find assistant at a place in a Richmond that did the surgery munch discounted. Wish I could remember exactly.
