Fuuuuuuuuckkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!

They were on a break between their Europ and North American Tour dates. My favorite band. I have seen them 3 times and was supposed to see them a 4th time in less than a months time. In shock about this one.

Does anyone else think Linkin Park sucked? Or am I thinking about Nickleback? Or is there a difference?

I am a huge fan of Linkin Park so maybe I am biased but Nickelback and Linkin Park don't even belong in the same sentence.

I liked their first two albums... after that.. the 3rd one I think it was... it was just awful. No heavy songs (save for 1 on the whole album), and just a very drastic turn from what made them famous in the first place. I haven't followed them since.

Yea I wasn't a fan of Minutes to Midnight, only that one song (What I've done) that was in Transformers because Megan Fox.

Didn't listen to any of their albums after that.

I agree, I loved Hybrid Theory, but it's meh after that... Don't foget his run with STP, I think one song was titled "Out of Time", that was like 2013...

Their newest album just didnt sound right, but that's just me... But still, an awful loss of talent, and hopefully a lesson learned for the next guy...

Hybrid Theory and Meteora were the best!

that one collab with Jay-Z was cool too.

It's very sad that he took his own life, especially with 6 kids. The suicide rate in this country is too damn high!

Do you get life insurance after a suicide?

dont think so, but in his case I don't think they'd be hurting for money.

Not to hijack the thread, but I wonder if someone else took out a policy on him if that would change anything.

on a side note, I just heard Linkin Park's latest song Talking to Myself.... and what??? Sounds WAY different than their Hybrid, Meteora and Minutes album.

Their entire latest album is basically a Pop album. Having listened to it before the suicide and then after the words seem to have an entirely different meaning. Almost like a sign no one saw.
